Nets decline Garrett Temple's option, making him UFA.

Pretty much called it the moment the Bruce Brown trade happened. Guess he could always re-sign in Brooklyn for less money, but we'll see what other teams come knocking.

Actually I think he is on his way to Memphis. I think it will be part of the #30 trade.

The Knicks/Hayward thing could be interesting if New York plays their cards right. Higher dollar/shorter year type of thing - 3 years - $90MM with the 3rd year a team option or partial guarantee.

Best case, NY creates a trade asset. Worst case, it costs you one summer of cap room when your likely not a player for a game changer anyway.

I think he definitely goes. Either as a trade, S&T, or he’ll opt out as a free agent.

Regarding Malik Beasley, a strong offer will probably not be matched - maybe the full MLE.

All sign-and-trades rarely bring back much of an asset. Top offer for one team is overpay for the rest.

MIN needs matching salary for future trades, with JJ gone, so they might sign him regardless.

Don’t be shocked if Beasley rejects all offers, and plays one year on a $5 mil QO.
