Some here were saying DJ is good after one or two good games and we signed again, the same with Plumlee, the same with Thon, Sterling, Snell and i can name many more..
I m not saying that Donte is not better than them but right now he is nothing more than an average back up player, i cant trust you or anyone and sorry for that for what he can become, i want something better than him or else we just pray, do you want that?
Remember the Bledsoe conversation we had few years back?

DDV was close to starter level last year as a 22/23 year old, that is his floor - not an average back up player. None of those guys were anywhere near as good as him at the same age.
Strengths: 6'5 guard, fast, athletic, fairly strong, good ball handler, can get to the rim, fairly smart, good defender, tenacious.
Weaknesses: Inconsistent, sometimes irresponsible with the ball, inaccurate passing, below average jumpshot, not great at finishing.
Considering how young he is, I expect him to improve in all these areas (especially shooting and finishing).
When all this improvement going to happen ?
You just traded 3 first round picks for now and you ask me to wait my friend ?
If you see the future then don't trade for Holiday and take what you can from Giannis and wait, don't do half things, or its all in or its all out.
Again i like Donte and if we can keep him i m all in but we need a more proven player than him right now to fight for the championship.
