Nah, just my mind playing tricks on me. Wishful thinking to some extent.

I think most think Davis won't be here especially since Taj will be re-signed. As for Randle, I'm really hoping he goes to a team where he's a better fit unless he's willing to come off the bench for us which doesn't seem likely.

he's giving up one year of 34 at high risk of that being the last major annual salary he gets.

4-5 more years at $20m+ > 1 year $34m + vet min for the rest of his career

i hear you that he should have made enough money to pick up the option and bet on himself. but the fact that he hasn't actually makes me very concerned about his own confidence in his long-term health and ability to contribute at a high level.

Yeah...I don't get it. 34mil turned down...rumors there is interest here? He's not getting that kind of money from any other team. What kind of deal would make sense? He is an injury waiting to happen...a MAJOR injury it seems. 10mil for 3 years? 15mil for 2? I don't even like that but...what could we possibly offer to make him leave 34mil on the table? Perhaps it is just coincidence that we are connected to rumors and he might go ring chase somewhere else. I just don't.see.the logic to him leaving that money to come here or us helping him recoup that money on a longer deal.

You listed names that are under contract...until they take the floor together... that's not the roster. We won't be watching that list of players this year. Some of them... but not all.
