More I read about him, I like this signing. He's isn't the most athletic but he's crafty and gets to the rim. And has unlimited range. He has to get back to his shooting numbers his junior year, I think he was trying to do too much his senior year and forcing shoots which caused his shooting percentage to dip

You comparing this undrafted college player to Lou fcking Williams?

Do you think letting Dotson walk is a good strategy?

Imagine comparing an undrafted guy to the former Mr. 45th pick himself.

Hey. How’s the COVID situation where you’re at? You and your family good?

Well, it's as terrible as everywhere. Luckily me and my family weren't going out much anyway even before this whole thing, so we are not in real danger of catching it. Few of my friends did, but went through them without issues. One of them had an interview in the Hungarian version of Fox News on Monday, and turned out yesterday that he has it. Hopefully he was spreading it like crazy.

I really like this the pickup. He can really score and is a better shooter then his stats showed. Tough player and good leader. Probably will struggle on defense and not that athletic. Think he can carve out a role in the league as a scoring guard off the bench.

Love it. Always good to have a guy on the bench just who can go out and get a bucket.

I know Thibs is not a fan of the youngun's, but hopefully this can be an exception.

He does prefer vets over youngens.

But I think he puts more priority in effort, defense, and competency.

I don't know much about Powell, though

Ok good. I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw that.

He might be a nice guy and works hard. But watching some of the clips that were posted, all I see is **** shot selection. He does get to the hole a bunch, though

I'm okay with a gunner coming off the bench, as long as thibs holds a tight leash to him.

How's his IQ, though? Is it another Trier or JR Smith, where they do more harm than good?

i saw a guy who can create space and rise for a made shot from anywhere on the floor. he was the batman at seton hall. here, he'll be an undrafted rookie coached by tom thibodeau & co

Maybe, but it was against mid major defenses.

That's why I asked what his IQ is like. There were a lot of **** decisions in his shots - some were of him being a straight up scorer, which is important to have on a team

I like a shot creator, as long as they're smart. If they're dumb as ****, like Trier, then it's going to be a problem and thibs won't let him play, hopefully and thankfully - unless, of course, thibs has changed how he coaches and he lets dumb players stay on the court

Horrible pick. Knicks don't know what they are doing. Only picked him because Obi whispered things in the ear of Leon Rose's son, who told dad, and then they got this guy. Bad precedent. Knicks doomed!

This is serious business. You can't just let a rookie push the franchise around like this.
