I'm amazed that they're spending like this. I find it hard to believe that they won't be good again with an owner like that. Unfortunately for them tho it appears that the injury gods have other plans.

That's not the bill until the end of the year. If they aren't contending ( ) they can always try to blow it up and save a lot on that tax bill.

Injuries and COVID really messed up their Chase Center plan QUIZ. Luckily the owner has tons of tech money so he should be okay :dontknow:

From 2014 to 2019 middle of playoffs they were very fortunate that they didn't lose any of their main guys for significant injuries. They swept the Cavs in 2018 Finals and got Cousins the following off-szn despite having no real competition. I feel like basketball gods have finally turned against them from that point on. I feel bad for individual players such as Klay and Curry though :dontknow:

Correct.

You can make the argument both Celtics and Bucks actually got worst.

If they S&T him for a TPE then they can use that to absorb someone else from another team. A $20m TPE could be very handy come the deadline, and Knicks/Hawks could definitely help them create it.

It would probably cost them a second or two, since they don’t to S&T for him, but it would be worth it.

He may re-sign on a multi-year deal at a lower salary. Besides, I thought he signed with Boston to play for his old coach.

I don't know if GH is going to be getting any more love in NYC. Poor boys going to be suffering from depression once he's locked in there for four years.
