Exactly. We need to dispense with the narratives that professional sports are comparable to "regular" jobs.

In no other job is there 1 singular winner and 29 losers. If winning is someone's prime interest, then a rich contract versus a rich contract shouldn't be the deciding factor.

I'm guessing you don't have a problem with super teams, then. Because that's the most conducive to winning, anyway. Hell, if Giannis is only about winning, he should toss the super max aside and just wait to sign with Miami or form a super team elsewhere.

It's never just about "winning" with any of these guys. Salary matters, too. The proof is staring you in the face - Bogdan didn't come here reportedly because he wanted a better contract from another team.

I don't disagree. Bogdan (and most others) prove that. But it's not comparable to a regular job - the dynamics are different, and that proves just how financially focused they are (more than regular job people).

The Bucks do need to fix the foolishness of how/when they've been leaking things. If it's one person in particular, a big fine might be what it takes for the other owners to intervene here...

Never been a fan of Hield, but surprisingly he has a higher PER than Bogdan. Bogdan's PER is 140th in the NBA, which isn't great.
