the plan is to get as good as quickly as possible....I fully believe we could have been a borderline playoff team last year by adding young veterans....using or draft picks and cap space.....can I specifically tell you who? no.

Noel must have gotten out of their price range, because Howard isn't very good anymore.

19 PER and a almost .200 WS disagrees with you. Dwight is fine as a backup center.
Noel is better but whatever I am fine with the move.

Depending on the price its good. Howard is ok w/limited minutes now, perhaps playing 15 mpg when Embiid is healthy, otherwise getting more.

I haven't watched a basketball game of any kind since the Sixers/Nets series in 2019, so I didn't see him play last season at all.
But I'm perfectly willing to go toe to toe with PER and WS. My eye test >>>>

I like it. Unexpected given the news, but I'm optimistic. He's still plenty capable and showed it in the bubble.

This is what we should have done last year when everyone was so concerned about a backup Center. You can get a decent one for vet min instead of ONE HUNDRED EIGHT MILLION DOLLARS lol...

This is prob what Morey was talking about in his presser. Doc's recruiting can get value FA pickups like this.

But i would rather have dwight than noel.
