We should be able to secure him for $20M per MAX. Nothing more than that

That’s how we kept Kyle both times......
True but Kyle was a higher calibre player.
For lease.

The Knicks still have a lot of money to throw around....I can see them getting desperate throwing 25m/yr at Fred

So doubts about Wood going to Rockets for 3year/27 mil now? Interesting....
At least teams have a starting point for bidding.

hoenstly if NYK ends up spending some of their money....its over for Fred. they only reason he still gets paid by TO is if we just willingly go over market to pay him
which we shouldnt do when our competitors are paying players like Dragic that played better than Fred in the playoff a reasonable amount

Re: Free Agency Thread **NOW OPEN**
Gasol in LA makes sense. Backup minutes. Doesn't have to score. Just has to give good defense and gives them a good passer off the bench.
I still think Brooklyn is the real worry for Ibaka. The lure of Durant and Kryie could be too much. And if they do sign Harden, that team could be something. Something good or bad - I'm not sure which yet.

Let’s put it this way. I care more about Chris resigning here than I care for Gasol coming back here. He’s finished!!
If he was to come back here I’d be f...... pissed. Imagine nurse starting this guy in the players again. I hope he goes to the Lakers or any other team but far from the Raptors.

Can't we go over the cap to re-sign Ibaka or FVV after we've made moves to improve the roster?

Imagine LeBron with another high BBIQ player like Gasol.
One flew east, one flew west, one flew over the cuckoo’s nest.
