This is probably one of the biggest reasons why they signed him.

The front office clearly wants to ensure the young players have a clear path to minutes and ultimately development, and they want to add veterans to compliment and mentor the young players.

I've said in other posts that we need more veterans that these young players can lean on, and this signing is emphasises that.

If this signing means we’re under no delusions about making the playoffs this year, I’m for it.

We need an earnest crack at the 2021 draft.

Truth, fact is, if Temple provides nothing but practice time mentorship and assistance with pushing the younger players to further development sign me up.

Little fact: Temple was teammates with Tyrus Thomas in college.

I like Garrett Temple.

I thought Plumlee or Grant might be pursued, but both got overpaid and I totally agree with staying out the FA flea-market.

Honestly, I want Dotson to play. I think DJ Augustin would be perfect for 1st half of season to let Dotson get acclimated.

I think it's a solid move. Locker room leader that Thaddeus Young was supposed to be. I'd give the backup 2 spot to Valentine because he's the better passer, better 3pt shooter and still has a small chance to get better. If Val doesn't bring it though then we have a more athletic, quicker first step, better on ball defending vet ready to step in.

Good move as this team doesn’t have a competent backup shooting guard and he can also play 3 if the Bulls are in a bind there, which they certainly will be at some point.

Ak was adamant about improving our pg rotation and we didn't draft a pg. I heard mentions of the bulls looking to get a veteran pg, but if i'm not mistaken, with this signing and if valentine ops in we will have a full roster, so maybe a trade is in the works.
