For folks saying that's a lot, 40/3 is a little over 13m a year. The expectation was KCP would command anywhere from 12-14 per year. It's right where expected.

got paid off of the playoffs he had. Dont think he's worth that, but he's a serviceable guard who does a lot of good things and the Lakers couldnt afford to lose him for nothing. They overpaid, but not by much
