I woke up hoping Bogdan would be on the Bucks and that Pats ridiculous deal was just part of matching salaries.

Nope. This is real life. We still root for the Browns of the NBA.

Wake me up for the Packer game.

Carry on.

What would your proposed trade be for Malcolm Brogdon?

Eh, so he can make a few more million and be a big fish in a small pond like the Hawks? While they're mired in Eastern conference mediocrity (albeit entertaining team)? Or he could be a vital piece to helping a generational superstar and small-market team achieving glory.

Plan B was rolled out pretty quick with DJ and Bobby. Or was this always plan A and the Bogdan trade just a pipe dream?
I never believed the Steph or Monta rumour either. If it’s too good to be true, it just isn’t true (almost always).

Anybody who thinks that was a terrible trade for the Kings is clueless. You don't see prospects as good as DDV in sign and trades very often.

We could offer something very similar via trade (16.4m starting salary tops out @72m). Hawks will probably reverse engineer this so Kings can't match and trade him to us later.

We're way passed this now, I had my rage day on this but it's over. The Bucks aren't totally blameless but I really don't think the bulk of this one is on them.

We are championship contenders
He is friend of Giannis
Perfect fit for Giannis and our needs
Same/similar offer
And we lose him to the Hawks.

That's a hard pill to swallow.

Is a miracle still possible? Kings match and a S&T with Pat C involved?

They'd only be able to do a S&T with the Hawks is my understanding.

To qualify for a sign-and-trade, all of the following must be true:
....
The player cannot be a restricted free agent who has signed an offer sheet with another team

I'm starting to believe this was the agent all along and he never really had interest unless the money was right. I'm over this.

I honestly can't believe this would be the needle mover for Giannis to stay or go.
