Just throwing a tonne of names out there

Larry nance jr
Myles turner - tj warren(probably not gettable)
Julius Randle
Steven Adams
Aaron Gordon
Richaun Holmes - Jabari Parker

Grabbing a mobile pf or big sf is I think the way to go. Double down on our most effective lineups in playoffs.

Randel would have been perfect had he had only 1 year left instead of 2 years.

Knicks have a lot of bigs so i could see them trending him for norm too!

Options and not player options. Why was Masai not able to do the same with Ibaka with all the african connection, winning a championship etc.

After analyzing this if you still think we will sign any significant free agent in 2021, then you are in for a rude awakening.

You think it was a good idea to sign Meyers Leonard on day 1? He played himself out of their rotation, and they still paid him.

Fact is both of those players would have had a market based on the types of contracts being handed out. Yet they did their team a favour to help them in 2021. I am sure other teams would have offered those contracts with a player option in year 2. The fact is they wanted to stay in Miami and continue to build a contender

Every situation has its own depth and nuances. We have a chance to sign a giannis or a gobert next offseason. Neither I would say are likely. But it could be an offseason that turns us from good to great and leads to a championships. Why bother assuming it’s falsely impossible. That seems just as dumb as assuming it will for sure happen.

We couldn’t even get Giles for a league min especially with starting center position open lol. Yeah we the north really going to get a top free agent next year lol.

If he’s “perfect” he should be easily tradable if giannis becomes a reality.

He would have been somewhat perfect for us .... we dont have bigs...other teams do so they may be reluctant to take him!!

We have some money to spend and we need bodies. I don't imagine the front office plans on tanking this year. We are destined for the playoffs.

wouldn't the news have helped us...less tax for players + no snow!!!

I imagine that the facilities in Tampa will be subpar when compared to what they would get in Toronto. It's all speculation though.

Are they paying the tax rate in Florida?

Do we know masai / Webster wanted Giles or tried. This is some kings didn’t want anymore - I like his upside but let’s not act like masai and Webster say him and was like this is it. This is what we need

Expiring, talented. Young. Not huge contract. I don’t think it would be a problem. Attach a pick or two and no raptors fan is complaining essentially trading Randle and a couple picks for giannis. Which I don’t think we’d even have to do

Wouldn't Whiteside be a decent usable center if we can get him cheap. If Giannis ever came here, you would think Hassan would be a good backup big coming off the bench.

Is Gasol to Lakers done or are people just assuming it’s done.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Goodness, stop with the incessant crying. We get it, no free agents want to come here. Stop acting like we were even targeting Giles or even made a phone call to him.

Just give Gasol the remainder money, no one else left better than him. How can LA offer more than us?

Just let him leave.

After he stunk it up in the playoffs, shooting 18% from 3, I don't want to be his sloppy seconds. He can go.

If we offer Gasol 12 Mil how are they going to create that kind of capspace even in a trade? Unless we get something back
