Wings:

1.) Craig | 2.) Korver | 3.) Bazemore | 4.) Gerald Green

Guards:

Denver ran out of roster spots.
Yeah but if he was crucial, roster spot is his

Does Ariza have anything left? He could get waived

I think Ariza is done. He has been one of my favorite players over the years but his time has come and gone .

He would have to be waived for him to go somewhere because he ain't the buyout type. He won his ring and then focused on his coins at every stop, signing with the highest bidder and riding them deals out. He will stay in OKC if they say you want us to give you the part that is guaranteed and let you go or you want to stay and get all your money

I'd rather sign Ibaka than Harrell.
Yes, Harrell won the 6th man of the year. He looked like a beast with energy.
Yet, he was also one of the spot who make me confident playing against the clippers last season. Really bad on defense. Undersized as a front court player without even a long range shot.

On the other hand, Ibaka was always known for his defensive presence and ability to switch on D. Adding that to his developed 3 pt shooting ability, he is the perfect 3&D center/forward for our team.

Going forward, we still have to further fill out our roster.

Front court
Resign Kostas, sign TT and Cousins on the minimum.Move Mcgee for cap space and sign Gasol.

Back court / Wing
Craig, Lance Stephenson, Bazemore, Glen Robinson, etc.

Hypothetical Roster
Marc Gasol / Thon Maker (Morris) / Cousins / Kostas
AD / Harrell / Harry Giles
James / Kuz / Lance Stephenson
KCP / Matthews / THT
Caruso / Schroder

Due to the health risks of Marc and Cousins, I intend to get one more in the front court. Be noted that all Centers on this squad has a reliable 3pt shot which make up for the lack of range from Harrell. Hopefully, Harrell can focus more on defense and be effective to switch on to big wings on the perimeter

Marco Belinelli has got me intrigued. I also like Marc Gasol too.

Ibaka is NOT a good defender. Way overrated since OKC days. He is now a jump shooter.

As for Harrell, the Lakers fans will see this mound of energy and high FG% and become easily a fan favorite. As for his defense, I believe Vogel will put him in a position to excel unlike the Clippers who used him (6’7”) to guard Joker.

Harrell>>Ibaka.

Ibaka was the worst defender in the raptor rotation. They were worse offensively and defensively when he started in place of Marc. He a damn good sixth man with range, but he’s not a great defender in space, not the elite shot blocker he used to be, and isn’t a post defender which is why Boston attacked them so when he played. His offense has gotten better. But it’s not like he’s an all around package like a Rasheed Wallace either.

He is something they needed because they lost both Harrell and Green. He’s a semi hybrid of what they bring, but he isn’t a cure all. They need an actual playmaker too and lost the dynamic of an inside finisher

Yep wiggle out Javale which I think is a mistake personally and they may become creative enough to get Marc for slightly above the minimum and give Morris a raise. That and stretch cooks mil

Although I would have preferred a younger and more athletic big as back up, I can definitely rally around Marc Gasol.
He is limited in terms of rim protection and pick and roll defense.
But he is a terrific passer, can score with a nice touch and has incredible basketball IQ .

I also think he will be able to do a decent job defensively against the Joker due to his big size.

It's also sweet to bring him back because we were the original team that drafted him and then traded him to Memphis for Pau.

Pick lord Sam Presti might take him if we had a 2nd rounder to attach.

I would also see if the Warriors wanted him. He knows their system, coach, and they are looking for a second big to spell and help wiseman. I mean say what you want about Javale but Zubac developed behind him. He also was very professional and the main cheerleader when he got benched in the bubble. That could be an Avenue to explore if the Warriors can make it work. I hate to Danny green him lol and send him to okc

Also Stein said this so maybe if Javale gets sent there and Markieff wants to get paid you send them off to replace Marc and Serge, while getting Marc back

Toronto is still trying to keep Marc Gasol but has strong interest in Markieff Morris as well, league sources say

The Lakers, reported Friday by @NYTSports as a prime suitor for Gasol in response to Dwight Howard's exit, continue to push to lure the Spaniard away from Toronto

The Lakers, league sources say, have explored trading away JaVale McGee to create more financial flexibility to make a more competitive financial offer to Marc Gasol

We can't be picky with vet minimum contracts. If a guy like Gasol is available and interested we have to get him.
