Thank you Serge for your professionalism, leadership, development as a player while you were here.
Stings that you went to the Clippers for the MLE... cough... the MLE plus millions from a private Ballmer subsidiary company.

I bet he comes back to Toronto in some capacity.
Also bet he gets more crowd love in the ACC than Kawhi does long term.

I feel like this was a post-basketball step. Good on Serge, but we'll miss having him around. Wish them the worst of basketball luck.

Re: Serge Ibaka Appreciation thread
A part of me always thought, or at least hoped, that Ibaka would retire a Raptor.
The way he embraced the city and its fans was like no other.
People were skeptical of his age and thought he'd regress when we got him from Orlando but he proved all the doubters wrong.
Yes he was dumb as rocks sometimes, would get caught in quick sand, and had butter fingers. But MaFuzzy was a beast, and one of the best all-around players in franchise history. His ardent desire to become better, have no ego, and play to within his role is what allowed him to become the elite big that he is today. He was made for the spotlight, whenever we played on national TV, the one guy you knew for certain would show up was Serge.
He played a pivotal role in our championship run. His game 7 performance against the 76ers was truly spectacular but was overshadowed by the Kawhi shot. He was easily the best player in that game. Simply put, no Ibaka - no championship.
So yeah, enjoy running PNR with Reggie Jackson and Pat Beverly in LA, Serge. But you will forever remain one of the most beloved Raptors of all-time. Thank you...

One of my favourite Raptors all time. Huge contributor in game 7 against Philly as many here have mentioned, but also brought his A game in GSW during the finals on many nights. You'll be missed Ma Fuzzy!

I've probably watched this comeback like 10 times. Their color commentator was so confident. Their play by play guy was talking about Sabonis being one assist away from getting a triple double. None of that mattered in the end. lol

Drove me nuts for 80% of his tenure with the Raps, but I'll always be thankful for his Game 7 performance against the Sixers. Kawhi got the glory but Serge was our best player that game.

Thank you Serge you were a pleasure to watch both on and off the court! You’re a great dude.
I wish you all the best. I hope you lose to the Lakers, though.
You’re welcome back anytime.

Professional, good leader. I really didn’t enjoy his game when he first arrived but grown to appreciate him. Came up huge in big moments

First game he returns at the ACC (whenever that is) should be Raptors Scarf Giveaway day (hosted by OG Anunoby)

Great personality, fun, wonderful contributions to the title. But wait till the Clips realize how bad his hands are, how he can't catch anything but the most perfect pass. And he won't have a Kyle who was aware of his hands and knew how to get him passes he could catch
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

Maybe Masai has seen the original birth certificate.
