I remember when we draft Jrue he was the first guy to be drafted that was born in the 90s.

Now, maxey was born in the year 2000.

Getting old fast.

I watched Jrue play in the ncaa tournament in Philadelphia and loved him. Was so happy when he fell to them, and my kids still love him. Thought there was a chance he'd be back but the pricetag was way too steep.

Hinkie's first mistake was trading Jrue Holiday.

LAL used that AD-D12 duo against the Nuggets. D12 gave Jokic a lot of problems.

If you go small, you can just have Biid or D12 at center then have Tobi or Ben at PF. Just like how lakers do with AD at C then have LBJ or Morris at 4.

You can’t play small without Biid. Imagine in crunch time the opponent forcing you to play small for them to be able to take out Embiid.

I feel like you should have learned your lesson with "bullyball" after you were all about it with Noel/Okafor and then with Horford/Embiid. Outsizing teams with no regard for spacing is how you end up with a terrible offense, and even on the other end, you're frequently going to end up with bigs getting burned out in space.

Per 36
D12 14-14-2
Tristan 14-12-1

Celtics would have been better off with D12.

They say third time’s a charm for a reason.

I agree with kuklas in the agility aspect of Anthony Davis presenting a completely different dynamic than Embiid is capable of. Embiid cannot float between the positions like Davis can, so there's no reason to think we could play two bigs like the Lakers did often.

Embiid cant play PF. No way in hell. He isnt Anthony Davis.

If Al Horford was a bad fit with him, D12 would be beyond terrible. Hes stritctly his backup.

I feel like we'll trade Dwight at some point this year.

I don't necessarily regret signing Howard, but did we jump the gun? I'm gonna be annoyed if Gasol signs a vet minimum because I would much prefer him.

That would be presuming Gasol would sign a vet minimum here rather than with the reigning champions in sunny LA. He could already have gotten more than the minimum from somewhere, if he takes that it is for location not money.

Great pickup. Howard showed this year that he has put his ego away and can contribute as a role player, even had a great attitude when he didn't see any minutes. Perfect back up center, and will allow Embiid to rest for some games. And signing for the minimum shows he is here to win.

No way Biid is as athletic as this guy.

Great value for money.

If Dwight can get Embiid into MVP shape and motivate him towards greatness, then he was more worthy of that Horford contract.
