Let's consider this now ... so the Bucks actually traded every possible asset to get Jrue , without extending him ?
I mean we should be asking for a Jrue contract extension first and ask Giannis later .
This is a total mess . If Giannis signs , imagine Jrue deciding not to sign an extension.
Why on Earth hasn't Jrue already signed up ? He is waiting for Giannis decision ? Are we serious ?
Is Jrue the "King" to sit last at the dinner table or Giannis ?
Since the Bucks went ALL IN on Jrue , at least sign him an extension.
And while we **** the table , now the "serious" orgs will trade their superstars and we will just watch the tweets

None of this is true. If Jrue is better than Beal, that would have increased the chances they could have gotten Brad. But Jrue's not actually better than Beal. Beal is a triple threat and can lock you down when he wants to. Beal was on Giannis' list, but Jrue wasn't. So that may have compelled Giannis to put pen to paper.

Its all true. Jrue was on the list. Jrue has more total value because Beal doesn't defend.

He only has 1 year left on his current contract. Jrue has next year followed by an option year. He'll almost certainly opt out, but technically you can't extend with 2 potential guaranteed years left on your contract. At least I think that's the difference.

Wes and the Lakers probably made overtures (totally not tampering bro) once he thought that we had zeroed in on Bogdan. I mean, he probably thought like most of us that the deal was essentially done, and he sought out a bigger role elsewhere on another contender. Can't blame him.

That would be a major head scratcher after seeing Pat's deal.

I think we all don’t like the Pat contract but hopefully with him working out with Giannis the past 2 years, the bucks have to feel like he will progress and become a better baller

Pat getting a lot of flak lately but he's still a pretty useful player. We probably needed to get more athletic on the perimeter and a Pat/Craig wing duo with Jrue/Donte at the guards gives you plenty of options.
