Re: Bucks News, Trade Ideas, Transactions
i love the pat contract.
pat/augustin/lopez/wilson is the salary filler that can create fun combo packages you can float for the oladipos and beals of the world. package a couple of them and options are galore. just those guys are decent players on short term deals with a cool 28,850,894 between them and not a poison pill in the bunch
not saying id do a deal right now necessarily. im a total pimp for ddv. by midseason we can evaluate the inevitable jump hes going to make in year 2. hed be the golden nugget that makes another team look our way but our contracts are also a very nice situation to put on the table. you add ddv and thats 30 effing million to float. if he was worth bogdan this year imagine if he improves. i wouldnt rule out anything

Big early season contributions from Pat and DJW will be crucial for our ability to change the team at the deadline. If we move the Pat contract for a piece, then it will have worked out but at this point it's another FO blunder and an overpay for a workout partner and dunk contest participant

Here's an interview with Wes, he goes into it a bit, seems like a really cool guy.Chad34 wrote:thinking about the guys we lost in the off season. Does anyone have anymore insight as to why we lost matthews at such a cheap price? Do you think pat c is more valuable? I think he's the one veteran beside hill, i'd like to still have.

Maybe SA does a favor for Rudy Gay - knowing he's not returning - and let him go to Milwaukee in midseason for Pat, DJW, and filler - or Augustin.

I agree with this. Or Augustin at the 1 and Jrue at 2.

We've got the salary but we don't have the tradeable picks that make those kinds of deals go. A Sheed deal, on the other hand... although Dipo might be that kind of deal tbh.

That's how i'm leaning, but I thought I saw someone post that we offered 1mil less. disappointing either way, he could be valuable off the bench.
Frankly, I'd rather have DDV and Pat get most of his minutes. And we have plenty of warm bodies to pick up the rest.

this is from the story here on realgm: "The Rockets are seeking a young, potential franchise cornerstone and a pick package similar to the one the New Orleans Pelicans received form the Milwaukee Bucks for Jrue Holiday."

I'm hoping Bryn can take Pat's minutes but agreed. Wasn't crucial to have Wes back.

Wonder if the Pelicans could swing it for Ingram and our picks.

Wes said he joined the Lakers for the opportunity "to win at the highest level". It would be funny for him if the Bucks win the championship this season instead of the Lakers.

With the talk of Giannis not minding playing with other superstars, I was wondering why didn't we pursue CP3? It seems the most logical trade for us at the start of the offseason. And with that trade, I doubt we give up that many 1st round picks.

Re: Bucks News, Trade Ideas, Transactions
3 guys with the number 11 on the roster in the Bucks website, Brook, Jrue and Forbes.
If I'm in the media, one question I'd ask Jrue today is what number he will wear with the Bucks?

They announced last night Jrue will be wearing #21
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"
