I hope Joe has a good career, but I cannot believe Daryl took him ahead of Skylar Mays. It still shocks me.

I can't believe that Nick Richards, Vit Krejci and Yam Madar got drafted at all, and they all went before Mays and Joe. It happened, because in the 2nd round, teams drafted for fit for perceived holes on their teams. Not necessarily for best talent.

Krejci and Madar seem to be draft and stashes.

Yeah, I know they're stashes. But if you're going to draft a guy to stash, get somebody that has a chance to compete in the NBA. That guy Krejci isn't close to being good enough to play in the NBA. You can do something better with the #37 pick than that. Trade for a future pick. Anything.

Either way, I think the 76ers did well in the 2nd round, and benefitted from other teams mistakes. They got 2 players that were probably better than 80% of the rest of the 2nd round players.

Yeah there’s just so much background politics with second round picks I’ve just sort of given up on trying to logic it out.

According to this guy (small school coach) Isaiah Joe is the best Catch-and-shoot and 3rd best on-the-move prospect of this draft.

He has a nice stroke for sure.

Encouraging to see some shooting off the dribble and playmaking.

Good pick for a late 2nd. At least looks like he has potential to be serviceable.

He needs at least a year to develop an NBA body, learn the game at this level and carve out his role. If he has the work ethic to go with that sweet shooting stroke there is no reason he can’t develop into a Kover-esque player, which will give the kid a helluva long career.

The trails of the real game experience that he and Maxey are getting out of this crippling period are invaluable and cannot be simulated

Okay

I love this kid did not see this coming

He has solid bench player and contributor written all over him! I can see him in two or three years playing 25 minutes a game scoring around 14 or 15 off the bench.

Smoooooooooth stroke indeed

The Isaiah Joe's of the world are exactly why all the crying over trading Landry Shamet always made zero sense to me. Also why you don't throw away lottery picks on shooting specialists. You can get a good shooting specialist in the draft in the late 20's or 2nd round, every year if your GM is doing his job and properly scouting college basketball.

Joe is going to be a better player than Aaron Nesmith, because he can put the ball on the floor, has body control and uses his left hand. Unlike Nesmith, who the Celtics pissed away a lottery pick on in the draft.

I'm glad he's settled down and is confident in his shot again. He was BADLY off in his early action which was probably attributed to nerves. He looks quite confident now and clearly feels good shooting from anywhere.

I just love that he has seized his moment and is making something happen. I liked him at Arkansas, so it's good to see him getting some minutes and doing something with them.

Had some great moments against Herro and Robinson defensively too. Furkan shouldn't take a single minute away from him

So the goal for this kid is to make a jump on defense and be a good 3&D guy right?
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

If he can just hit a decent 3 point percentage would be great right now. He's only a few games in. Let's see if he can crack the rotation first.

Seen more from this cat in a few games than we did from Kork in years

He's played well, but I wouldn't go that far. We'll see if he's able to be more consistent than Furk who's surprisingly only two years older than Joe at 23.

Some team will probably throw a few million at Korkmaz this summer prompting us to part ways (unless we trade him first). Joe could be a good value replacement who can step into that reserve role.

Skinny Hollis has looked more playable than expected, which is a good sign considering how much room he has to grow on the scale. Get him on those Shake/Furk supplements this summer
