I disagree.

LeBron will never have Miami's heart like Wade does. Nor will he ever have L.A.'s heart like Kobe does (hell, millions of Lakers fans still don't embrace LeBron stemming from that rivalry). And his own fans in Cleveland are appreciative of the ring, but view him as an abusive spouse.

If Giannis stays and wins a championship (very capable with Holiday and Middleton), he has a chance to go down as an all-time hero like Dirk in Dallas, Duncan in San Antonio and Steph in the Bay.

This. LeBron and Durant have tainted their legacies. They're nothing but mercenaries. They don't have any fanbase that will "back them up".

Portland is more ride or die for Dame Lillard than any of the fanbases from LeBon's stops are for him. LeBron is such a polarizing figure among his fanbases. Everyone rides for Dame and he hasn't even came close to a championship yet.

I still think Giannis signs his super max. He can ask for a trade a year or two down the line if need be. The big fella should be securing the biggest bag first and foremost.

I don’t think he signs it before free agency. Whether he does depends on how this year goes, how he sees that team doing and if he really wants to live in Milwaukee. Remember even if he leaves he can just sign a 2 year deal and then after that he has 10 years of service and can sign the 35%/supermax with anyone.

The supermax doesn’t really work as an incentive for a guy that is that good because he’s still getting the highest max contract offers even if he gets hurt. Look at Durant.

Maledon filling up the box score. Hope we don’t regret passing on him.

Dallas got production out of Terry, Bey, Green and Hinton tonight. What a stellar draft class that could be

Maledon looked so comfortable out there. Got buckets from all three levels and even used the snake dribble to trap his defender behind him and hit an arching floater. OKC got a great one

I can see the Bulls going after Giannis.

Look at their cap space. They also have Billy Donovan, who i doubt will sit through this garbage basketball the Bulls are playing now.

Lavine and Giannis pairing also makes a lot of sense.

Gotta respect Giannis. He knows he can’t shoot worth a damn. But he doesn’t care about Twitter, Shaqtin a Fool, or a damn box score. No one is saying shoot your team out of games, but this is a guy that knows the only way to get better at something is to... wait for it...actually do it.

But that’s the difference between wanting to be great and win MVPs and just being content with making an All-Star team.

It’s because the good things he can do can overshadow his flops.

Most Ex-players who now are on TV, aren’t even on his stratosphere to laugh at him.

You’re absolutely right. Don’t think for a second that doesn’t factor in to the psyche of a certain Sixer either.

You can’t not be able to score at the rim AND not be able to shoot. But hey, if you never see me shoot you can’t definitively say I can’t

He's in year 8 still trying to force that struggle jumper. If he ever wants to be anything other than a regular season statpadder / eastern conference stepping stool, he needs to develop a back to the basket game instead of roleplaying as players much more skilled than him.

Let’s not act like he’s been shooting 3s for 8 years. He needs to continue doing what he’s doing.

Keep applying pressure at the rim and work on shooting atleast 33% from 3. It’s 2020.

Every time I watch the extremely draftable players from the Zhaire Smith draft who were taken after pick 9 I vom a little. No disrespect meant to Zhaire the person.

He started attempting over two a game four seasons ago and his form is still busted to oblivion. Teams want him taking those shots, they'll just wall off the paint and beg him to take his prayers.

Damn, Lamelo went 0-5 with 4 turnovers in his debut. Borrego has his work cut out for him with that one.

I don't think it can be undersold how far behind the first season disaster set Zhaire back. He was a project player who needed time to develop an offensive game, broke his foot... and then almost died. From freaking sesame. That will change your entire mental makeup.

I think if the kid goes to Europe and works crazy on his game he could end up as an NBA role player in 5 years.
