This

I think Miami should trade for Harden, would be a scary team though :(

Herro, Nunn, Precious, Iggy, Olynk, 2025 1st (no protections) and 2027 1st (little protections), 2024 and 2026 swaps

I am not sure if they can include any more picks/swaps since they owe OKC some picks, any work around?

Harden, Robinson, Butler, Harkless, Bam
Dragic, Avery, Harkless, vet?, Meyers Leonard

They should sign a few vet mins (guard, wing, big)

I wonder if Hou doesn't do it w/o Robinson.

If they require him, Miami should ask for PJ and Mclemore back

Miami is not getting Harden for that Poopoo platter.

The deal would have to start with either Bam or a package offering up a zillion pics (including a couple swaps).
Don't believe the hype...

Noo...

BKN package is even worse

Herro>Levert

Unless Simmons or Siakim is available, Hou has no better options

If I was Hou I would hold onto Harden tbh. Would push for Simmons super hard if possible

Just incase anyone is wondering, ADs jump shot trended up as the seaosn progressed and theres an article released talking about how he was adjusting to his new jump shot as the year went on

The two/thirds of the year pre bubble his midrange numbers were barely off of what it was in the playoffs, it was just REALLY bad at the start

Team defensive rotations in the second quarter have been crazy active. Whole team seems to be trying to set a tone on defense.

Neither Trezz nor Dennis looked like defensive liabilities so far.

Some sloppy play but he looks pretty quick on the few times he's actually tried. The decline isn't coming this year.

Lakers look really good.

Rotation looking to be

Gasol/ Harrell
Davis/ Morris
James/ Kuzma
KCP/ Matthews
Schroder/ Caruso

THT will play a lot given rest + Covid and maybe he earns his spot by displacing Morris. But I don't think you can get away with an 11 man rotation.

Lol wtf son Booker is like legitimately a GREAT passer. Did this happen last year in the bubble? Some of his reads and the way he looks off the backside rotations are like high level veteran PG reads. Just saw him sling a crosscourt laser to a wide open corner shooter vs a soft hedge defense.
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

He's been an underrated passer for awhile now. He's considered a shoot-first guard, but he's been averaging 6-7 assists the last few years

Booker is easily a top 5-10 offensive player now

Gasol/AD/LBJ/Matthews/Caruso would be a good lineup [5 plus defenders, can play 5 out].

I liked how LeBron and Gasol and AD played with Matthews in that second quarter.

They should start Gasol/Ad/James/KCP/Matthews and bring Schroeder off the bench or start when James tskes gsmes off

I'm really liking what I'm seeing from Kuz. Some of the reads he's been making have been really advanced. Seems like he's really added some nuance to his game. I hope he doesn't get shafted with all of the new pieces coming in.

How did Matthews look (esp wrt Green?)

Is it possible James takes like every 10th game off or something (e.g. the minute restriction equivalent of taking every 8th game off) and gives a ton of those minutes to Kuzma/THT?

Gasol looked like he could still move his feet on the perimeter in those few minutes, but again, this is preseason. The passing's still there obviously. Really, if Gasol can start shooting threes at an average clip again...

I'm guessing LeBron really doesn't want to bring the ball up the court in any line up and instead wants to focus more on facilitating from the post, hence the Schröder as starter discussion.

If kuz focuses on letting the offense come to him instead of trying to create, or basically finishing plays when given the opportunity to vs trying to make them, hes gonna be a great, great piece.

Kuzma with a better three point shot and not trying to overcreate, focusing on finishing with his D from last ursr is prolly a third guy level player for us, or at least a 6MOY tier guy.

We potentially have 3 6MOY level guys on our team, starting championship center, bron + AD, one of the best limited role players in caruso, a wildcard in THT and morris + kcp to round it out

Pope looks like he wont be used as much to guard 1v1 vs team defense which will boost his impact on that end too

Yeah. That's the best he has moved in pre-season since the 16-17 season. The short rest probably has a lot to do with it. Not much time to fall out of shape.
