Scott Brooks Says Deni Avdija Has 'Good Chance' To Start At Small Forward

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Thu Dec 17, 2020 6:39 am

Scott Brooks said that Deni Avdija "has a good chance to be" the starting small forward for the Washington Wizards this season.

Brooks noted that the competition is still open.

Avdija scored 15 points on 6-of-6 shooting in his preseason debut.

This kid looks solid. Perhaps GS wasn’t full of BS when they said they’d take him at #2.

That can only happen if they starting with Westbrook, Beal, Deni, Rui and Bertans. Should be great offensively, but would get crushed defensively lol. Maybe they go for it.
