Well, Malone in his post game said he will have some tough decisions to make and that he is ready to make them, don't think Barton has much leverage whatever he thinks, it would be nice to have healthy Barton doing whatever needs to be done, but he's not the star of the team/is certainly tradeable.

Its sad that Barton doesnt want to play the role he fits best on this Denver team. He might be a 6th man of the year type player with most of his weaknesses becoming positives on the bench squad.
Since its so important to Barton maybe the solution would be to make all the starters bench players and all the bench players starters. :D Barton gets to start and we get to play the best lineups. Best of both worlds. :D

I could see him creating issues, TC should be looking into trades right now, especially after a decent performance vs. POR last night. If this goes into the season and he starts creating dissension, his trade value drops and he becomes harder to trade IMO. We may have to suspend him first.

It's not like they didn't know this was coming months upfront, Barton always prided himself of being the starter and if he recovered and played alright, it was obvious he would want to continue where he left off. I'd expect (or hope at least) TC and Malone would have some sort of plan what to do in that case.

Not only that Barton believes he's a starter, but he probably thinks he should also be playing in clutch situations to play hero ball. Not good at all. I wish Connelly would just trade him with or without Malone's consent coz the latter seems so fascinated with him.

He was always like that, running straight into multiple defenders (while Jokic is alone like a ghost on the top) is classic Will Barton.

That is just the first of many hero ball plays we'd be seeing from Barton, that's why I'm hoping he gets traded sooner rather than later.
