I believe this is our second Exhibit-10 deal signing (Cam Reynolds being the other one). There's a Drew-Oregon connection per John Diaz, and it apparently helped us land 22-year-old, undrafted, 7' (7'3" wingspan) block monster C with potential, Kylor Kelley:

This allows us to retain his G-League rights:

Which leads to another hint of news, this time about the Austin Spurs' involvement in the G-League:

I like both the signing and our (as yet unconfirmed but implied) participation in the G-League bubble this season.

Here's some info about Kyler:
In two seasons with Oregon State, Kelley averaged 9.4 points and 5.3 rebounds. He was also menacing on defense, adding 3.4 blocks per game in college.... Kelley would earn a bonus of $50,000 if he spends a minimum of 60 days with Austin after being waived.

Scouting report from the link above:

And some additional info here:

If he has Drew's intensity and work ethic, and ends up as a taller version of Drew through development, that's solid.

Welcome to the Spurs family, Kylor!

There will also be Fiesta warm ups:
But the jersey fun does not stop there.

We now have a look at the new Spurs City Edition warm ups. They will have the tribal teal, pink and orange symbols running down the sides with the jersey text across the chest.

We may also be getting an Earned uni for making it into the bubble:
Earned designs for two teams that made it to the Orlando bubble but did not advance to the playoffs — the Spurs and Suns:

And finally, a tweak to the Statement jerseys with the Jumpman logo instead of the Nike one:
Read on Twitter

Statement from July:
Nike announced Tuesday that the Jordan Brand will appear on all 30 "Statement Edition" uniforms for the 2020-21 campaign:

"Giving the brand a ubiquitous presence across the league, the logo will appear on the right shoulder of the jersey and left leg of the short for all 30 Statement Edition uniforms. Each season, the Statement Edition designs set the tone for key matchups and are inspired by NBA teams making a bold statement every time they step onto the court — a natural connection to Jordan Brand's namesake and his approach to the game."

Not sure I love having Ferry aboard, but I'm sure we did our due diligence. Seems like he's paying his dues with various teams to repair his reputation. Well, it's a consulting role, and we value multiple quality ideas so we'll see how it goes. He's one of several new people we're bringing aboard and promoting:

Some info about a couple of the other people coming aboard:
Kayode spent the last four years as Assistant Director for the USA Basketball Men’s National Team, where he assisted in all facets but primarily focused on developing the Men’s Junior National Team program. Prior to joining USA Basketball, he spent two seasons from 2014-16 as the Video Coordinator for the Detroit Pistons after serving as a video intern for the Golden State Warriors from 2012-14.

Meng joins the Spurs after spending the last seven-plus years at the NBA league office, most recently as Associate Vice President of Basketball Strategy and Analytics. He started with the NBA as a Manager of Team Finance in 2013 before being named Associate Director of Basketball Strategy in 2016. Prior to joining the league office, Meng worked as an investment banking financial analyst at Goldman Sachs for two years after graduating from Harvard in 2011.

Let's get this done, Spurs! Derrick's absence is keenly felt and how we play without him is proof of his importance to us:

Frank the tank at minimum? What do we have to lose?

Legit 7 footer who can shoot threes. He could probably do a better Aldridge impersonation from distance than Aldridge himself.

Might even look a bit more interested too...

I've always liked Frank. Guess it depends on what shape he is in and why he was waived.
Can't be worse than Zeller.

I looked at Frank's numbers and oof! but yeah we're thin at the 4/5 in terms of complete prospects. The tricky part would be to sign someone within our financial constraints. Is Frank the kind of player to go over the luxury tax for?

There have been several players waived that have been surprising ie/ Dzanan Musa.

The main issue now is re-signing Derrick. Sure we have the money to match next summer, but do we really want to take on a potential overpay as teams tend to do to disincentivize the home team from matching?[gfycat][/gfycat]
