That Derrick White contract is such a bargain. He's going to be a star. I'd give Midds for Derozan/White. Something along those lines.

OG should have been a Buck.

Yeah. He’d be an ideal small ball 4 next to Giannis, too. 6’8”, really long, strong as hell, very good laterally. Tremendous man defender, and can hit a spot up 3. I feel like him guarding bam in that Miami series would have worked well. I think he’s only an inch or two shorter and I don’t think he’s really giving up strength. We’d immediately be able to switch quite competently with OG coming in for Lopez. Have OG guard the best player positions 3-5, and then have Giannis ballhawk.

The defensive versatility of Giannis, OG, Jrue lineups boggles my mind.

If not for his injury, would've been a lotto. In drafts, I will always choose upside. So many guys who've gotten hurt over the years in college fell in the draft even though the talent was undeniable. OG, MPJ, Cole Anthony. Anthony is going to surprise a lot of people.

Man, Kendrick Perkins hates Giannis. Just was going off on how KD is best in East and not close. Then talked about how "you want to cite analytics and PER and blah blah. Everyone knows Giannis doesn't guard he just lurks. He ducked Harden, he ducked Luka" Hate Perkins

The less you watch ESPN the better your quality of life will be. I pretty much ignore the entire group of ESPN folk.

Whose idea was it at ESPN to keep grabbing these un-articulate morons like Perkins and Ryan Hollins who were nothing more than scrub role-players? At least when guys like Shaq, Barkley, and Isaiah Thomas have really dumb hot takes and opinions, I can somewhat rationalize it by the fact that "well, at least they were Hall-of-Fame players...".

But who in the actual **** thinks 10 years from now: "You know whose voice we really need screeching across our nation's TV screens? Ed Davis!"

LAst week Perk was bashing Giannis too. Mostly he just has a love affair with AD and ends up having to be negative to Giannis while saying AD is better. Most glaring thing to me was him emphatically saying AD is a better ball handler. What's funny is in one of rants he was going on about how what MKE did wasn't enough since AD had Jrue and they never really won so that means Jrue isn't that good. Essentially saying they didn't get a good enough #2 or lead G, which isn't a bad take overall. But it'll make him look stupid when Giannis wins the equivalent of 55-60 games (normal season) with Jrue when AD could only go .500 at best since his whole point is to say AD is better.

Note that I could be wrong on some of the conclusions he came up with as I turned it off halfway through. Overall Perk has become really bad in this role on TV

Sometime the roleplayers are great for analyst work. Ryan Clark is an example. Hes phenomenal....... Then again he also doesn't just spew **** out of his mouth for shock value so there's that.....

On this topic, somehow Paul Pierce is apparently back for another year. He is not good at all either.

He's always good for making a different ironclad playoff prediction every time a different team wins a game, though.
