Dwight looked really bad physically to start the year last year as well. I'm hoping Gasol improves on a similar trajectory as Dwight.

[quote="Heej"]Gotta say tho man, the Clippers are NOT a championship team. There's something wrong with their mental makeup. They're just way too entitled and lose focus way too easily.[/quote
You're amking this way more complicated than it has to be. They can't protect the rim against good interior scoring and their secondaruy creation is dubious.

For reference, theyr'e basiclaly worse to signifcantly to massively than the 2020 raptors at everything but iso scoring.

Feels like one of those games that every time the Lakers get within a possession and can take a lead the Clippers pull away

Thats a bit much, the clippers from a talent perspective have the potential to be a very high ATG tier team

That doesnt mean their talent comes near ours though

Sadly

AD looks so disengaged and not game changing on D (like he did in the finals)

Luckily his jumper looks good

What do you mean? Dwight looked fantastic physically to start last year. His activity and shotblocking were off the charts for his limited minutes. He actually got progressively a little worse as the season went on because he gained a bit more weight.

Nah those teases are usually mental, and the mental edge goes the other way in this game. I'm positive the Lakers take the lead at some point. Don't know if they'll hold it, but don't think they'll keep teasing the whole night.

This is also how I remember it. Gasol might just be beyond cooked like certain people were saying. Fried? Barbecue chicken?

Maybe I'm remembering wrong but I remember him being barely able to jump at the beginning, and getting better and better through out the first month and into Christmas.

This is what I remember, he started off as our 3rd best guy and fell off

Man on cue the Lakers get within 1, miss a shot to take the lead, Clippers come back and hit a 3. I don't think they're gonna break the spell. Just one of those games that makes you wonder if the basketball Gods are real.lmao

The whistle Lou gets is out of this world, especially with the stark contrast to what Dennis is getting on the other end tonight.

This team is going to beat up on bottom feeders pretty easily. Won't even need Lebron and AD to play well to rack up wins.
