First two games have been trash and there's no way I'm sitting through Nets-Celtics.

But we didn't get a high pick and I have a hard time believing that the Ws deal was ever on the table.

He's gotta be the odds on favorite.

I believe the report they were asking for 8, Mitch, and RJ for him

It's just funny to me that the people who are the most thirsty for him wrote entire treatises on how you have to be able to defend in space as a C to win, and that's Wiseman's weak point, that he isn't good at defending in space

I just think it's much easier to build a winning team with a role player at C who plays defense, and offensive guys who aren't as good on defense are much harder to build around (KAT, Jokic, Cousins). Granted, this was based on the hope we would draft someone besides Obi at 8, but I'm not really losing sleep over Wiseman.

Also, a bunch of guys on the team have fallen off or been replaced by inferior players. I don't think they're 2015 form when Klay comes back either. They've got light years to go to get back.

"Amazing how underrated Klay is" is a bit more precise if I may add. Always been the clutcher and the more reliable player, deadlier when getting hot, always been the better defender, just the same % from the three and from the FT line. The guy is criminally underrated. People give him credit like he is Pippen to Jordan or something of this ridiculous proportion. It's either 55-45 or 50-50 with this duo. Solely on the playoffs it's even 45-55 in favor of Klay.

I wasn't too sure that the Warriors making the playoffs before Klay's injury but they're definitely not now.

See, that one I believe. Or next year's pick unprotected. And the answer is no.

I mean, you win with great players and Wiseman may become one. I just don't think there was a reasonable deal to get there. Hell, I don't think a reasonable deal even to get to 5 (Hayes) was on the table so I'm not going to waste a million tears when he starts to break out.

Curry has had more great playoff performances than Klay.

Klay's game 6 was legendary but it doesn't count as 10 games.

Curry was the lead guard and the conductor of the offense. He's the guy teams were trapping at halfcourt for a reason. Klay never had as much pressure applied to him. Great player nonetheless, but let's not act as if it were 45-55 in favor of Klay in the playoffs lol that's nuts.

Karma for adding KD to an already great roster and looking bored of winning.

I don’t get the off season vids of mitch working on the shot if he never actually shoots the ball. He might as well spend that time building up muscle and work on a post hook or something

Like I was saying during the draft process, if we're trading Mitch and 8 for 2, I'm not taking Wiseman, I'm taking Ball. Shot creating PGs are just much more valuable than Cs with mediocre at best defense. And while Ball is much more raw, the potential is there, though not super likely imo

This really wasn't the year to pay a premium to move up. Lot of really good guys, but no clear superstars. Wouldn't be surprised if the best player ends up being someone take late lotto-mid 20s. Of course, I didn't want us to take Obi, and I do think we missed the mark on that one, but still. Not paying hand over fist for Wiseman or any of the top guys was probably the right move.
