That's one way to get their roster back to 13

Looking like Houston may need to do a Harden trade with us pregame, just to field a team.

"James Harden will play in the game. Harden was fined $50,000 for attending a private indoor party Monday."

Lol at private indoor party. Remember that fellas, the next time your woman asked if you were at the titty bar, just tell her you were attending a private indoor party. Hell, bring a couple of your mates from work and tell her it was a team building exercise.

Looking forward to some Blazers. Would love to see a change in the starting line up though. I think our current PF rotation is what may be making us look bad. Also playing two, new guys in the starting rotation isn't helping either. What has also been clear is that Giles looked pretty damn impressive to all in the short preseason, and think he's the answer.

Current PF rotation is: ROCO / Melo / ? / ZC(IR). I think ROCO should play SF as much as possible. with very few minutes as a small-ball PF. Start him at SF, or Jones Jr., and let those two along with Hood battle for the SF minutes.

Melo is a key player in our success, but heavy minutes outside the playoffs should be monitored. Keep him fresh for the playoffs. I think we should consider starting Giles, and until Collins returns play Melo as primary backup PF, and maybe some ROCO there until Collins can work his way back into the rotation. Try going with this PF rotation instead: Giles / Melo / ROCO / ZC(IR).

Pleeeeaase, at least try it soon, and not wait 10 games to make an adjustment. As for tonight's game.... Shouldn't be a real contest IMO. Rockets have only 9 players available, and Harden might have 50+ shot attempts.

I've got no clue what we're about to see. Will it be another crsppy game because of the Blazers or Rockets? Hopefully the boys figure some things out over the past few days.

Every year that goes by... you see CJ as the weak link clearer and clearer.

4th game in a roll, first quarter until after the 4 plus minute mark, replacements come in, especially Anthony, and opponent begins to take off. Twice already Antony lost his man for an easy basket.

Looks like Blazers might be trying to make a very limited Rockets team look good.

So either Melo fits into the offense more or rides the pine. I'm praying that the actual plan for the second unit isn't just to endlessly post Melo, that wouldn't be a good look on the coaching staff.

Simon's? Good God. if Melo is our main offensive option in the second unit, this team is in trouble.

Isnt it time for Nurk, CJ, and Covington to come back in?

Nothing coming easy for Portland. My guess is they need time to gel. Unfortunately, there are 10 fewer games than normal, so Portland will need to get its act together soon.

No, if Anthony is in the game in the first half, the team is in trouble.
