They do not. NCAA might not mean a lot, but high school means NOTHING.

Yeah, cos the Hawks totally made the right decision drafting Omari Spellman ahead of Mitchell Robinson, didn’t they? Your analysis is incredibly simplistic.

if Kentucky drops to 1-6 Boston/Clarke should just start prepping for the NBA draft, there is no point in being out there at this point, this team is a complete mess and probably the worst constructed team I've seen under Cal

Cal's just trying to prepare them for when they get drafted by the Knicks.

Boston, sure, but Clarke’s stock has dropped so rapidly. Off the court he has reaffirmed GMs big character/immaturity issues with him. He hasn’t even played today. He needs to play and show good character or else I’m not sure he’d get drafted.

Trendon Watford having another great game, he looks a lot better this year in almost every way, much more of a threat with the ball in his hands, still not sure where he fits in the NBA at this point b/c not sure I buy him athletically but he's been good

also I still like Darius Days

Can someone tell me why Boston had a reputation as a sharpshooter out of high school? He was a terrible shooter in HS and is somehow even worse now.

How can anyone possibly see him play and call him a first rounder? He’s a complete black hole on offense that can’t shoot.

Still limited sample size of games for Kentucky prospects, but the pressure is officially on. Scouts are starting to question Boston. Idea his NBA comp could look closer to Lamb's than Ingram's. Some don't see Clarke as a first-rounder

Anyone else like Jared Butler pretty irrationally? Haven't watched a ton of Baylor (quarter here and there) but he always seems to be in the right place at the right time. Sometimes forces his way to the hoop in a bit out of control manner, but it seems like that would be alleviated a bit with the increased spacing of the NBA.

Uh. They drafted Mitchell because his physical tools are overwhelming. High school performance where guys like Dejuan Wagner put up 100 points on little kids is irrelevant. We don’t need to see their numbers and dominance against a bunch of nobodies. We need to find out how big, athletic, and skilled they are, and Cade scoring on some little kid or Cade scoring on a chair is basically the same thing at that point

At least in the NCAA is going to get challenged(sometimes), as you can see so far.

Btw, me and my friends played for the same high school as Mitchell Robinson. I can’t express how awful the talent level in the area is. You could tell he was NBA talent by watching him walk out of the locker room and warm up though. Lol

I think we are on the same wavelength too much on the draft. I hate Jared Butler now...no, that doesn't sound right.
