The most frustrating thing about Juancho and his deal is that I think we could get away with a real non-factor guy at that position, as long as they could defend/rebound and hit a corner 3 at a high enough clip to command a close out.

Offensively the 'big wing' in our set up seems to get very few looks.

Jared Vanderbilt is trash, I don’t know why some of you are so in love with him.

He needs to be cut and bring back RHJ

Yes, it shouldn't be THIS bad and we've been let down by a number of guys you expect better from *cough* DLo and Beasley *cough* but it was always a likely outcome once KAT went down.

I am however always surprised to see how many people are waiting to jam the knife into everyone involved with the team after a bad result though, Ryan's coaching was pretty good the first two games. I think we'd all ticked these two LA games as losses, as a result it was super important to win our first two and we managed to do that.

Outside of KAT the team is relying heavily on a number of guys to produce regularly who are still a little too inconsistent to carry that weight, in particular Edwards, Culver and perhaps Beas. No excuses for D'Lo though, he needs to be better than this. He's the 1b on this team and when KATs out he needs to lead by example. Piss poor showing from him

True all of that. But the lack of effort is unacceptable. And we got exposed on how bad our bigs really are. This is a D-League rotation. Nothing we didn't know already.

Let's also not forget the Lakers played without AD.

We should't fall in love with our guard / wings rotation in a small sample example.

The team is unbalanced and trades are needed with urgency. I hope Rosas is aware of that instead of being in "love" with his assets.

Oh the effort is awful, that cascades from your older guys to a degree though. D'Lo in particular needs to set a much better example.

Our big rotation isn't good, we already know that, but I do think that between Beasley, Edwards and Culver we have the makings of a pretty good group of wings. You can't expect Culver and Edwards to fire every night yet though, unfortunately.

I don't think Rosas has fallen in love with a single asset on this roster outside of Towns and D'Lo. Maybe Culver?

Dlo played much better without Kat last spring. Not sure what explains what we saw tonight from him. I've said I think it's the lack of any offensive identity through Rubio/Dlo to start this season instead focusing on Culver/Edwards so much. But who knows. Could just be that Dlo is off tonight or giving up with Towns out and that's not what you want to see.

McDaniels has some tools but he’s way too skinny to play any real minutes right now

Looks Like Edwards will get up over the rim when no one is around. Not impressed with that part of him right now.

Play vanderbilt and mcdaniels over Juancho (and Layman) please. Rosas **** up giving Jauncho that contract just accept that and move on... use Juan as trade ballast in future.

Smart and willing is better than useless and unwilling at this point. He did more in 5 minutes probably than a few that had most the game.

At least we won the rebound battle 48 to 46. Glad I stayed up late for that.

Well at least wolves didn’t get dominated by the Cavs like the sixers did today.

Yeah, he got so talked-up all offseason then I saw him on the floor the first preseason game and was like

They could, but if you noticed Vanderbilt appears to just play with himself. Stil can't hurt playing him off bench a little if it allows you to sit the hapless when needed.

McDaniels should be playing until Layman and Juancho prove they are willing to give more than they are right now. He can't be worse and looks better so far.

I wonder if the pregame for game 4 will also be the Marny/Edwards puppy talk, again. Important things to contemplate.

With Towns out DLo, Beasley and Ant have to be better. Get action going to the rim. Don’t settle for one on one play or no ball movement 3s. DLo got into his own head and arguing with the refs.

We don’t have any playable PFs.

Don’t want to make excuses being on a back to back, but they looked sluggish and soft.
