I'd like to see some blocks and steals, but he's got a lot going for him.

Romeo Weems hit five threes on his debut.Young for a sophomore,he is athletic, high intensity and good defender. Some guys on the "thestepien" were/are high on him.
Anyone thinks he can be a first rounder even lottery pick this year if he keeps shooting so well?

I had Weems as a mid-first pick on my big board from the start of last season. I loved what I've seen from him prior to his Freshman year in college. If he can consistently hit his 3's then he screams ‘glue guy that every team would like to have’ to me. Not sure if he sticks out enough (in terms of athleticism, skill-set and playing style) to get broad attention as a mid-first pick unless he really blows up but I can see some people (including myself) pushing hard for him.

gonna shout out Joey Hauser again before Michigan St plays today, no one is talking about him but imo he's easily draftable at this point, he's got a pure stroke, is a hound on the boards, good %s across all cats, love his off-ball movement and general BBIQ, legit 6-8.

Any thoughts on Sandro Mamukaleshvili? He is a nice passer with a legitimate jumper for a 6-11 big. Don't think he has the greatest lateral movement on defense, but he looks like a legitimate second round prospect to me with the chance of being a nice contributor.

i still like Tshiebwe tbh, just wish he'd have more impact plays defensively with this athleticism/length, a guy like him should be avging at least 3 blocks a game in college but he's not even getting close right now.

meh, 3-5 weeks of no Morant I don't think is enough to put Memphis in contention for #1

also I think Suggs is a better fit on Memphis tbh

Team is -43 with Ja off the floor. Currently missing Ja, Jaren, Melton and Winslow. Likely 4-15ish when Ja returns.

No way I’d advocate any team taking Suggs over Cade.

aren't Jaren and Melton coming back soon?

and I don't think Cade/Suggs are far enough as prospects where you completely ignore fit.

'minor leg injury', might be residual from his scare earlier in the season, sounds precautionary against teams like Dixie State

Melton is in the Healthy and Safety protocol so could be back soon. With Jaren it is unclear when he will be back. Memphis gives little to no info on injuries if they can help it so media speculation is around MLK for his return.

He’s so good defensively. He can carve out a niche as just a lockdown perimeter defender.

I like Jalen Green. Still sort of hidden not playing college ball.

I hope the Pistons get him or Suggs. I like Cade too. Really would be fine with like 8 different players from this draft. Deep ****ing draft, with a lot of potential stars.

The rotation, the initial read, the additional read, and THEN the closeout. Tons of contact on the ball, energy to track the ball put it on the floor under control and finish through contact.

Still can't stand his hair though.
