Mavs showed a lot on defense for 3 and a half Q's. Was great to see and also Dwight being way more active than usual. But Rick needs to stop overplaying 2nd units because 1st unit gets cold for those last 5 mins or so and they always struggle.

Miami started with 0/15 for 3. I highly doubt that was only because of Mavs D. They were missing open shots too.

I don't know if Butler is injured or he has some other problems, but he didn't play like he cares at all.

Dallas played better defense. Overall, Luka was good. He doesn't look fat anymore, but still a little sluggish. THJ had a very nice game. Good offense and made some defensive plays. Powell wasn't as bad as he normally is, but still doesn't belong in an NBA rotation. WCS looked like his mind was somewhere else. Burke is starting to pile up poor games. It wasn't a great Mavs effort, but it was good enough to win.

But mostly Miami lost this game.

So lucky Miami couldn't hit anything. But we really needed that game. Eases some pressure off them hopefully.

Considering how Mavs are playing, 2:3 is very good result.

The same old story this season. How many games is it only 1 team that can hit their shots? We won 2 and lost 3 depending on shooting, and same for other teams aswell. Cant remember that its been this many blowouts in NBA before?

Good defensive game tho, not good offensively but was enough

Butler has been injured the last two games.

It's not everyday that Miami has on off night

Duncan Robinson 1 for 8 from 3
Tyler Herro 1 for 4 from 3
Goran Dragic 0 for 6 from 3

Mavs got lucky tonight. I'll take the W though.

A lot of it is the way the game is played. Three point shooting is a lot streakier than driving to the hoop and midrange jump shots.

Butler certainly wasn’t up to his usual self, but we are short KP. That was only the third time since the NBA finals that the Mavs beat the Heat.

Hornets were hitting everything the other day. It goes both ways.

It's kind of amusing to see the Hornets get blown out at home by the Morant-less Grizzlies.

Doesn't feel like we've seen a "normal" game since that Suns game. All the others looked weird with blow outs and bad basketball.

If not mistaken, they swept the series 3 straight years!?
