Bet we see Haliburton in Team USA camp next summer.
The Milwaukee Bucks are NBA Champions.

LaMelo looks like he's going to be the best player from this draft. It was only a question if he could play and turns out he can. The high ceiling was probably the best of the draft. He will put Charlotte on the map for years.

The rest of our team is really bad, he would have 15 assists tonight if they didn't fumble his passes or clank shots

He's been looking a lot better in these past two games. It will be big for him if he can perfect that floater.

I still have my doubts on him in terms of superstar potential, but he's shown he can at least be on the level of guys like Ricky Rubio or Lonzo Ball. If he continues to play like he has in the past two games, the Hornets may want to look into trading Devonte' Graham. He's going to want a big payday and it doesn't make sense to give it to him with LaMelo and Rozier on the roster.

I love him out there. He brings energy and mixes it up. Solid D and and fights for rebounds. He's far better than Jahlil Okafor out on the court although I worry Casey will put the veteran back in after he gets back from injury.

It was a little frustrating seeing his teammates not finish plays he set up or stop the momentum he got going. It will be interesting to see how the team gels over the course of the season.

The Hornets can have fun this season figuring out the identity they will need have in order to compete in future seasons.

Hayes is a lot rawer than I thought. Really needs to work on his right hand.

Saddiq Bey with 17 points on 5/8 3pt shooting with 7 rebounds.

His shooting form reminds me of the players in the old arcade game, Double Dribble:

yeah. cannot believe these draft experts advised Bulls to draft a bust at 4.
hes too raw and the last thing is waste that rookie contract for nothing. Hes not a terrible player and can be a stud similar to Lamelo if he finds the right team to develop.
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.

For me his play so far has been perfectly expected.

That's not how it goes. It doesn't matter where some mock drafts had Avdija. The fact is he was chosen 9th, and for that pick he's looking like great value so far. It's not on the player to meet that "next Luka Doncic" hype. If anything it's the scouts that should do a better job at evaluating talent.

If a player is touted as next Luka Doncic or next Michael Jordan or next Shaq and then he plays reasonably well, nobody should be surprised.

He plays as expected. If you disagree, then in my opinion - no disrespect - you had wrong expectations.

Except nobody who watched him actually compared him with Luka.

In fact most scouting videos on him specifically stated that he is not on Luka's level as a prospect but he can still be a good player.
