I thought the Badgers needed to take better advantage in the first half. They outplayed Maryland and got to the line, missing a bunch of free throws.
If you're up by 10 at half as they should've been, Maryland's "of course this 3 at the shot clock buzzer will fall" shots would have just been annoyingly bringing them back closer late in the half instead of salting the game away.
The problems, though, are/were:
-One feels like Potter should get more minutes due to being useful on offense...but he still gets torched on P&R defense
-Post-up basketball is mostly non-existent nowadays, but Reuvers/Potter being unable to do ANYTHING there really sucks as just a default, "we can't get anything else going tonight, let's just get a few easy baskets" not being there.
-Just a bad defensive half last night. Maryland got a bit hot/lucky on some shots, but obviously the main issue is the Badgers let them have their way to a ton of free dunks in between and left a few of those 3s open.
