Honestly believe he would be the best bench point guard in the league.
Same with Randle.
This may happen soon enough.

3 big man rotation with Randle Obi Mitch is fine.

Payton & Bullock can go to UTA which needs some back end help for the perimeter

You keep Randle unless you get a legit asset back, none of that trade him for Batum trash that many wanted.

Trade Payton for a second to any win now team needing a backup pg. He would be a good backup on a team like POR with plenty of shooting, but hard to get the numbers to work.

Utah should be talented enough to make the playoffs. Got to focus on teams on the bubble trying to break through into the playoffs (and hopefully push down DAL). Bullock for Jabari & a second or two to help the end of SAC's rotation?

Works for me. I just like the idea of strengthening UTA, a smaller market team, to go blow for blow with the guys at the top

Randle looks really good, kinda wish we drafted Deni or Haliburton right now.

That said, if he playmakes like this and we get 2 stud guards in the draft, we are gonna be very solid

Doesn’t Payton have a no trade clause?

Payton has a no trade clause. You would have to convinxe him to waive it which would be as simple as 'we have no time for you.' And you eat a kicker.

Dumb thread. You don't trade mini-bron when he is hitting his prime. He has a great contract and is making the team go. If he continues to play like this, like it or not, Randle is an all-star. You only trade him for an overpay of assets.

Payton needs to play with shooters or get traded. He should be coming off the bench with the second unit.

Of course there's a role for Elf elsewhere!

Couldn't be be paired up with Will Ferrel in a holiday film for 2021? It could be called 2 Elfs.

There's not enough cocaine on earth to make that happen.

At this point IMO we should keep the following:
Mitchell/Randle/Obi/Knox/RJ/Quickley/Rivers/Burcs
We can get rid of:
Elfrid/Noel/DSJ/Frank/Bullock/Iggy/Harper/Pinson/Harper
Taj will win up staying with the team but I just don’t want him taking minutes away from Obi.
When will Obi be back?

Nobody knows. Last I heard he’s out at least another week. Could be more.
