Trae Young is a baller. Took him a little longer than Luka but he is here now.

19-4-8 as a rookie at 20 y/o. He was "here now" then at 20 y/o. He followed that up with 29-4-9 last season. Where have you been?

I don't think anybody had him in the Luka tier until this year.. But I personally think he is now there. That's what I meant. Never said he wasn't good. People thought ATL took a hard L on that trade and that's simply not true.

Green and Curry making such a big difference for the Sixers. Really wish Danny would trade some of these future damn picks for a couple of guys that could shoot like them. Hell I'd take cutting somebody for Kyle Korver at this point.

Dude is a mini version of Harden, btw. You like him until you see him play. I know that the NBA is what it is, but the guy plays for fouls like crazy and it's pretty annoying unless you're a Hawks fan(same with Harden).
Good assessment:

He's incredible offensively. Curious to see him in the playoffs when teams target him defensively.

Raptors are now 1-4. They're going to be desperate as hell against us, if the playoff loss wasn't enough motivation

Jaylen Brown really ruined Siakam’s confidence. Dude is playing like ass.

Also, lol at the Raptors fans who ridiculed Jaylen’s contract last year, and then applauded OG getting an extension that pays him $18 million/year. Van Vleet should fire his agent. If the Raps are paying OG that much, FVV should have asked for $25 million/year.

The current team sucks, objectively speaking. We went all-in on Giannis and lost key defensive cogs in Gasol and Ibaka. We are not the same team as last year, which itself was different from our championship team. We stink and I expect us to get clobbered by the Celtics.
I acknowledge and thank the lək̓ʷəŋən peoples of the Songhees, Esquimalt and W̱SÁNEĆ First Nations for allowing me to live, work and play on their unceded traditional territories.

I never rule you guys out to be fair. Plus we'll be on a B2B.

However, the Celtics are weird and play better when the circumstances for them are worse so I can see it.

Siakam was ass long before Jaylen dispatched him in the Playoffs. He started off last season unsustainably great, and steadily declined as the season went on. Dude should not have made All-NBA over Tatum. That was a joke of a decision by the voters

As I predicted- the Nets are legit TRASH on defense. With Kemba playing, I don't fear them one bit. Literally.

Plus they're running the bench with LeVert as the main playmaker which is just atrocious. He takes more shots per 100 possessions than Kevin Durant.

LeVert is on the court with KD and Kyrie and he just takes a step back brick 3. Doesn't even get the ball into KD or Kyrie's hands. This dude is so bad.

I got flamed in the post game thread after the Nets loss for this but I agree 100%.

LeVert is awful, and so is the entire Nets bench outside of Jarrett Allen who should be the starter anyway

I get triggered every time I hear someone call LeVert an All Star. Nets announcers just said, "...when he's back to his normal All Star level," and I almost puked. He's one of those guys who sometimes he'll get red hot and he'll have an awesome game and if all you see is that one game you think wow this guy is amazing. But on the whole he's just a huge negative more often than not.
