Yeah, Wiseman is slipping, Kerr needs to get on that. If he's not hitting 80% from 3, he's useless to us.

Okongwu still ruled out for tonight, but he's close to playing, looking forward to seeing him. He's behind though, even more than Wiseman was, so will probably take a while to settle in. I don't know if the Hawks have the right mix of players, but damn, they have a lot of young talent there.

Cole and Stewart such solid picks. Cole even has some star potential.

Plucked at #12, Haliburton was the steal of the draft. He's shooting 56/50/100 and averaging 10.5 points with 5.3 assists through 4 games. He's the real deal and would have fit in beautifully with the Warriors had they been willing to trade down to the 8-12 range.

Well, we don't know, maybe they tried to trade down and didn't get any good deals. And let's say you want him and trade down, where do you trade down to? He went at #12 which I never would have predicted, I thought for sure he at least wasn't going to get by the Knicks at #8 but I thought it was possible he could go in the top 5. Hard to plan for. If they wanted him that badly, he was there for the taking at #2 and I actually would have been fine with them doing so. To be fair I had Wiseman #1 and Haliburton #2 so I still would have taken Wiseman.

But yeah, he's going to be really good and I am bummed out we didn't find a way to get him on the Dubs. The 2021/22 Minnesota pick would have been a lot to give up and our own 2021 FRP would have been valued lower then, but imagine we had both Wiseman and Haliburton this year. When Haliburton kept falling, I would have been on the phone seeing if anyone was interested in our 2021 FRP + Paschall or something. Seems like one of those teams may have bitten on it. Maybe they tried and there were no takers, who knows.

Ball does a lot more than I thought he can, especially shooting.... more useful than Edwards. I bet Minny is crying right now.

Updated through Jan. 3. Saddiq Bey creeping up. Wiseman now leading rookies in rebounds, blocks, and personal fouls, which is about what most of us expected.

Wiseman is being asked to do a lot more than almost any other rookie, not in terms of usage-time, but in terms of being basically a high-school player learning a lot of new things in a complicated offense/defense while the team figures out what it is. He is expected to play interior defense, rebound, block shots, and stretch the floor with 3s, which is a pretty tall order.

He'll be dominating opposing players by the end of this year. Mark my words.

I really wanted Pritchard. And wasn’t high on Nico like at all. Pritchard ate Nico for breakfast in college and I have no doubt Pritchard is a legit stud.

He never gives up. He is Draymond in a little white guards body. I can’t believe we didn’t try and grab him.

Again Warriors front office......I will consult for free! Hit me up on PM

The only problem is that Pritchard went 26th. Nico went 48th. Its already been stated that Nico told teams if in the 30s dont draft me cuz I have a golden state promise. Dont know how true that is since 7 PGs went before Nico after Pritchard was taken. Unless you are saying that pick was up to be bought, but with us being in the mega luxury I find it highly unlikely. I suspect it took a Klay injury to use the TPE on Oubre. I think the usage of the dpe depends on how much we gel

It may not have been possible, but I personally valued Pritchard highly. So I personally would have made a move to get him. But easier said than done I realize.

Same with Cam Johnson who I thought we should move up for in his draft.

I spent alot of the draft process asking people what I was missing with Hayes... ESS even had him as his number 1 prospect at one point. Yet every time I watched him he just seemed MEH.

Still doesn't look like i'm missing much with him. I really don't understand what the hype was. Maybe i'm still missing something about his potential?

People saw that he takes step back 3s and felt like because he could take those he’d eventually be good at them. Problem is that he isn’t a really good shooter yet
