The people got him to the top of the ticket and Fox started supporting him to make that money and get views. Anyone pushing the divide amongst Americans as fault of the media just doesn't know America well at all.

Facts are America has never had standards and this is just another failure in a long line of failures dating back to reconstruction.

I just try to find reasons why so many people so in love with Trump as president. If its not biased media, what is it, not like Trump ended starvation or hundred year war? But maybe I am hypocritical, cause I understand Trump hate, so maybe I should accept that Trump love comes from the same vein, I just find hard to accept that because in my opinion what I hate about trump is rather evil and not just political, so I have hard to accepting people can worship that...

It's that for a lot of people Trump represents maintaining the current US caste system and to them that's more important than anything else. Anything that makes things more equal for minorities is hated, anyone openly calling immigrants/black people moving into white areas invaders will be loved.

Basically everything you hate about Trump (other than his stupidity) is what makes them love him.

How he gained this support, what were his main accomplishments?

Dems want to beat the Republicans so they can push their policies.

Republicans, clutch their pearls at being denied their right as “real Americans” and therefore want to own the libs.

They found a shameless buffoon who would constantly attack Dems and anyone who called them out on their actions.

Don’t be surprised when others try to follow the same pathway. I got my eye on that idiot in NC.

Biden ripped into the people who violently attacked the Capitol: “Don’t dare call them protesters, they were a riotous mob, insurrectionists, domestic terrorists.” Biden also held Trump personally responsible for the attack, citing Trump’s wildly different behavior whenever the protesters have been anti-Trump, including when Trump had protesters tear gassed and then posed with an upside down Bible.

It’s notable that President-elect Biden is personally holding Trump responsible for yesterday’s terrorist attack while introducing the new Attorney General. Biden has made clear that he won’t meddle in DOJ criminal cases against Trump one way or the others. But Biden just made his feelings very clear about Trump’s criminal culpability in yesterday’s attack.

If this cop was white, and the rioters pursuing him were black, I'd bet anything he'd have opened fire.

I just get the sense nothing meaningful will happen, in terms of consequences. I sincerely doubt the Republicans will invoke the 25th when it's all said and done, nor do I think the Dems pull the trigger on impeachment.

I truly hope I'm wrong.

one thing about that... if trump is relieved of his duties, could he not be then pardoned by pence? maybe he needs to take 1/20 to the face.

If he's removed, he can't run again.

I'll take that over a pardon risk. Even so, I don't think Pence would pardon. It's political suicide.

This is grifting from Pelosi.

Impeach Trump now. If he 25th is invoked, then you can drop the impeachment.

She's performing right now.

May be not enough time to process an impeachment anyway. If they did, it might remove him a few days before the inauguration. I'd still like to see that happen even under the circumstances

Only truly expedient method is the 25th

Not if she initiates it this week she's not. If she doesn't pull the trigger this week then she's bluffing

There is a report on CA that says the group that breached the Capital broke off during Trump’s speech together. Indicates a possible plan to take the Capital while police were distracted.

My concern is the misapplication of the word “grifting”
