I thought the Badgers needed to take better advantage in the first half. They outplayed Maryland and got to the line, missing a bunch of free throws.

If you're up by 10 at half as they should've been, Maryland's "of course this 3 at the shot clock buzzer will fall" shots would have just been annoyingly bringing them back closer late in the half instead of salting the game away.

The problems, though, are/were:
-One feels like Potter should get more minutes due to being useful on offense...but he still gets torched on P&R defense
-Post-up basketball is mostly non-existent nowadays, but Reuvers/Potter being unable to do ANYTHING there really sucks as just a default, "we can't get anything else going tonight, let's just get a few easy baskets" not being there.
-Just a bad defensive half last night. Maryland got a bit hot/lucky on some shots, but obviously the main issue is the Badgers let them have their way to a ton of free dunks in between and left a few of those 3s open.

Frustrating loss after getting the 8ish pt lead early in the 2H and then missing an open 3 that would've pushed. Everything seemed well in control at that point.

In spite of all the overall D issues, just make FTs and you probably win. Also, Davison probably played the worst game of his career. People shoot bad, it happens, so I don't mean that. I mean him just being out of it on D, hustle, laziness, etc. Stuff he never lacks for some reason he was just not there yesterday. If he just plays a normal blah game instead of worst game he's played they probably win easy. This will probably be common all season, UW is very good but they're not so good they can't lose to almost any competent B1G team on a given night, which will probably happen several times.

B1G is so tough this year. Can't take any nights off. Nice win today. Score was not indicative of how badly beat them.

Nice to skull **** Goldy on the way out of 2020. Not the best offensive performance but great defense.

If anyone is listening to Bill Walton tonight... this guy has lost it completely. Cringeworthy, but funny... more than normal

Game postponed tomorrow. Sounds like Paterno State had probable - though unconfirmed - cases. Looks like I'll have to make do with American gridiron.

Refs cheated on that foul by ford but reuvers just caused that by throwing another off the backboard then getting completely manhandled.

Badgers had like two fouls to give. Why not foul him when he blows by? Led to a dunk.

It pretty clearly wouldn't have counted even in real time.

Tyler Wahl is a beast out there. Mini kirilenko. Challenging everything, deflections, tie ups, rebounds. Awesome game.

Trice is a straight killer too.
