Re: 2020-2021 Regular Season Game 9: Orlando Magic (6-2) at Houston Rockets (2-4)
When we were down 10 in the 1st I thought to myself: "We're still in this, a quick run and a few stops and we are back."
When we were 20 down: "Still have a chance, we need good shots and solid D."
Now: "Houston, please have some respect and mercy, stop abusing this Magic team!!!"

4 backups and Vuc is not even tank-material. We are doomed if Evan and Gordon are out.
This stretch of 8 of 9 away games will be brutal and humiliating for us.

This is why being a defensive team is important, no matter how bad you shoot you're still in the game. When you defend like the Magic, if you aren't killing it offensively then you're going to get blown out

I think this is an excellent way to just say "Look guys, we are super hurt, two starters down for the year, we are going to trade everyone and reload next year". It would be so easy this year to take a knee and be a good team in 1-3 years. We won't do it because we rather just look terrible for the rest of the year, but there is a road to redemption for this franchise. Will they take it?

WeHam value player continuation and familiarity, we are building a winning culture with a tanking starting lineup. Go figure...

Just get the Frenchie healthy and playing decently, trade him and get rid of 1 or 2 veterans in a trade including Bamba. Retool and accumulate some picks and young talent.
Draft solid players in the strong 21 draft class. Tank and pray for a healthy lineup next year.
What else can we do???
.....well, replacing WeHam with some more active and modern NBA-oriented GMs wouldn't hurt.
And please Magic owners, after firing the Front Office, please release their medical staff as well. These bums we have now are useless and do not know what they're doing.

Cole just has no way of getting a clean look up at the rim frok inside and outside. And he is struggling to hit open shots as well. He's a rookie so he is gonna struggle bad this year but I was hoping he could be a little more effective offensively then what he has shown( primarily getting off his own shot).
GO MAGIC

no matter what happens for here it is imperative we get two first round picks in next years draft.

I need a GIF of that attempt and reaction by Vuc

And Vuc is hilariously bad when the other team actually puts effort into guarding him

If you only look at Magic score(41), you will think they are on second quarter.

Tough night for Vucevic
Tell him to take a seat and get ready for Dallas.

We really need to pull Vuc. He isn’t even trying on defense
