Boy, Tacko had a night, but he's about to get thrown from the pan to the fire on Sunday if he spends any time guarding Bam

People who've said in the past that Tacko isn't an NBA player are taking a big L tonight.
He was the last player to head back on D after his dunk, but the first Celtic back to the defensive basket for the chasedown block.

I’m a little shocked Nesmith didn’t get minutes when we were up huge and just screwing around.

Obviously Westbrook's a good player He's a triple-double machine but man his shooting is absolutely atrocious. I know they couldn't have kept Wall because he wanted out but the team could have been better with him.
Regardless Celtics played well for three quarters. Not crazy about how close the game got but considering they are down like five rotation guys It's just impressive they won.
Going to be a tough game on Sunday. He are still a good team and the Celtics are still short-handed.

My compliments for much more balanced posting of late. You are gradually diminishing your well deserved & infamous reputation. Celtics!

Jaylen VC. JT was awesome, Tacko and Pritch good games.
Jeff Teague has to be better for us. Dude feels like one of those guys that doesn't really want to be here. I get Hayward vibes from him.
Brad Stevens needs to get control over his **** team. Stop blowing goddamn leads.. Wtf is this ****? Every game it's the same thing. And put a **** leash on Smart. Dude should NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER look away JT or JB and call his number on any play. Ever. Sick of it now.
I like Jeff, but he tends to be on or off. Stevens has to learn to recognize which Jeff is in the house each night, and react appropriately.
I think Jeff is "shocked" how professional Pritch is, but if you stay 4 years, have a B-ball IQ and some skills (and a 22 year old body vs. a one and done body) - well, that's why Pritch deserves to play, and thankfully Stevens recognizes it.

I don't know about you, but I'm getting a frustrated vibe from Tatum in his post-game interviews. He's not happy with their blown leads, saying they've got a lot to clean up.
That's a good thing though, that's showing good leadership. Holding each other accountable should only make them better moving forward.

The good: The Jays man. 27/13/5 for JB 32/5 for JT. Pritchard with a solid game. Went 3/3 from 3. Looked good. What else happened....?
Oh yeah...
TACKO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Like y'all didn't know who I was givin the VC to tonight?! Man, please. You know I had to give my boy some!! In just under 20 of real (and not garbage run) he looked pretty damned decent out there. 4/8/3blks. +13 Not quite the 35/15/6 I predicted but he didn't didn't want to demoralize everyone. Actually the truth is, I thought we missed him at least 3 or 4 times on the roll when he was wide open or just tried to get him the ball too late. But solid work by my guy.
The bad: Giving up a 28 point lead to THIS team?? Really guys?? 21 turnovers and some horrible shot selection in the 2nd half. Marcus Smart...**** him. I'm done. Sounds harsh? Don't care. Done defending his ego, his bad shots, his horrible turnovers and his obliviousness to the game situation. I would not re-sign this guy when his contract is up. More Pritchard and less Smart. Hoping Langford can come back and be a contributor again.

Jaylen was once again studly until he lapsed into TO-itis late in the game.
Jayson was mostly excellent & closed for us - 4 TOs sucks. Stop that!
Double P was super solid again - and made multiple key plays when we were trying very very hard to mega-embarrassingly give away a 28 point mother **** lead to an awful team.
7-3
On to the Heat again on Sunday.
Let’s hope the whole team is not in COVID quarantine by that time.

If. If if if if if. Kemba comes back healthy and integrates well, we're gonna mess around and make it to the ECF again (at least).
TPE in the back pocket. Can't wait to see what happens.

Y'all are so unnecessarily hard on JB and JT and the Cs. I have watched a lot of basketball this season and Washington, while terrible on D is one of the top offenses in the league, they were going to put it in eventually. MANY TEAMS, even with the best players on the planet cough up huge leads!!! ALL PLAYERS tend to let go of the rope when their team is having their way with a team, the other team is an NBA team, and when ANY NBA team gets momentum it can be hard to stop them, and then you have to snap yourself back into the game! This isn't a Cs problem, it's an NBA thing!! Edit: forget it being an NBA thing, I watch so many different sports and it happens a lot! NFL, Golf, Tennis... name them all and it happens!
NAME ON THE FRONT OF THE JERSEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(!)

New nickname alert! Get ready!
BLOCKO BALL!
Woot!
Woot!
Thanks Covid! (said no one ever, except this deranged fan right now)
Also JB and JT were really good and you love to see it. SO GLAD we’re finally pass the “defer to Marcus Morris” years.
Brad Beal seems like what you’d get if you crosse Kemba and Jaylen, just with less defense. But the smile is there! He can join us for the vet min but no way I move JB or Tacko for him:)

You really can't blame the collapse in the 3rd quarter on the players. Voted for Tacko. I was convinced he can't play in the NBA but I may be wrong. And I want to be wrong.
