I was hoping and expecting this to be one of the first replies. You did not disappoint. Jroy have it all.
record is about the same and their highest minute lineup (aka regular starters) is net 12.1 compared to the similiar Blazer line up of net 1.1. Going to need a much more from the starters than overall thusfar.JRoy wrote:We need to get this one SAC is terrible.

I will give Stotts kudos for last games win, and think alot had to do with him getting the player rotations correct by keeping a balanced lineup on the floor at all times, limiting Melo, and splitting Dame and CJ's playing time with the use of GTJ. A 3 guard rotation with Dame/CJ/GTJ with just a handful for Simons, is what I've been crying for.
Your suggestion of returning to small ball makes me cringe, as I think it is exactly Stott's biggest weakness in the past... going small. GTJ should play SG only, except in special circumstances like in last game just before half, when Jones picked 2 quick cheap fouls and needed to come out. Maybe in the 3-point lineup as well, but how GTJ was used in the last game, I thought was was near perfect.
The change, that I think would improve the team is switching up the forwards a little, which again, to Stott's credit, he did in the last game. What I mean is, between the 4 forwards we mostly use for the SF and PF positions, I would prefer the balance of a Hood/ROCO, with Jones/Melo off the bench, or vice versa, the opposite starting Melo and Jones. Either way, I see a better offense/defense mixture, verses the early, mostly defense Jones/ROCO starting with mostly offense Hood/Melo off the bench. Just a tweak really, but a possible fix IMO.
My suggestions should also help to keep all players fresh for the playoffs, as I worry about burnout from ROCO and Jones Jr. already... Dame and CJ to a slightly lesser extent. I also hope to see, in the coming weeks, Simons and Giles maybe get a few minutes early in games. If they play well enough, maybe a few in the 2nd half as well. Little too, but that might be too much to ask. Simons, I just want to keep taking the small steps forward that he's been doing so well, but Giles IMO has earned at least the opportunity for a few MPG as well. I think Little could help some too, but I really just want this type of depth through the long, middle part of the regular season, with likely few to none in the playoffs for any of these three.
