So none of our guys tested positive for COVID and the game is cancelled because 10 of our guys are going through potential tracing issues after facing the Wizards? So why even play the wizards in the first place? NBA should have cancelled that game if there was a chance it could lead to this?

Not to stir up anything but if you really want the vaccine you can get it. I have friends in another state who have a clinic that is in the process of being approved for administering the vaccine and he told me to jump on the first plane after he is approved and he would give it to me. The point being that I know the NBA doesn't want the public backlash that would come with their privileged athletes jumping the line to get it but if someone like me can jump the line, they need to just figure out a way to do it.

They should just hire a PR firm to make some kind of media campaign to soften up the publics view on this and go for it.

And just to be clear, the doses are assigned but if someone decides they do not want the vaccine (like millions of people are) then it just sits there. I would be getting a dose that was declined.

yeah. they should just cut in line and get em all vaccinated. sports affect so many people's mental well-being, especially in phucking pandemic. they are very essential workers imo. it's hard to draw the line with other professional sports but major sports in each country should apply and the number isn't astronomical.

I'd say health care workers, old folk, Essential workers, prison pop., then NBA players.

Then require vaccinations for all these superspreader events popping up everywhere

I read somewhere that we are paused because Avery Bradley's test was inconclusive (aka, not negative). The NBA uses saliva direct testing developed by Rutgers. It is not as conclusive (the range of results is wider) but it is much, much faster, yielding results sometimes within 4 hours.

My personal belief is that we are here not because of OP (or Demon OP), but because some of you were complaining about the team after our glorious defeat of the Wizards yesterday. You know what it's like to travel right now? A win is a win.
