DeRozan and KAT out for the rematch. Normally I'd say these both are things that help the Spurs win, but Derozan carried the Spurs last time.. we'll see. DLo starting off hot

They are too bad. We want them to be bad, but not THIS bad.

Wolves have got this one.. DLo had a much better 2nd half but Rubio led the team in some crucial 4th Q minutes.

Beasley won it for them though, he's a bit of a microwave

Thank God MN won. First, they cooled off SA that had a couple of big wins lately and started looking like a legit contender for a playoff spot (another competition to GS). Secondly, I thought MN would never win another game without KAT and that is bad also (top 3 primary candidate in the draft).

We need them 3 to 5 bad. Most lottery has a team jumping into the top 3. If its 4 to 6 then we know we have the pick. If its 3rd, we have to wait and see but we should always want the highest pick possible.

From the postgame thread on the Wolves board:
We won and I still disliked Russell. At least he is better than Wiggins and will help keep Kat around.

So it seems like both teams feel they won the trade? I like Wiggins a LOT better than DLo.

I guess it depends on what you need. When you have Steph/Dray, you are going to have some intelligently run offense out there, so Wiggins can just do his iso thing when they are out or on possessions where we call his number to give others a rest. But GS really needed defense, and DLo gave us none. Meanwhile Minny I guess really needed someone to help give them a consistent offensive attack, and DLo's pick and rolls do that.

I wouldn't mind if they finished with the worst record (doubtful). It would still give the Dubs a 60-40 chance at the 4-5 pick with a zero per cent chance of being any worse than 5.

Wiggins can play in a team concept.

DLo is a selfish style player. He gets assists but they are on his terms.

Great trade. And Kerr hated D’Lo, so there’s that.

No, we definitely lost the trade because of the pick involved. DLo vs. Wiggins is debatable but no way the difference is worth our pick.

It was not but on the other hand, had you not made the trade there is a good chance you have an angry KAT who forces his way out.

Wolves favored by 3 points vs. Memphis tonight. I saw something that lists Townes as <probable>. Potential swing game with a Grizz victory.

A truly pathetic meltdown by Minny. They aren't tanking. They just suck.

That pick by Minny is spicy.
