Pacers Odds and Ends
Thought it might not hurt to have a catch all kind of thread to share things like tweets, writings, and random stats/observations that might not otherwise draw a deep discussion.

Our original starting lineup of Brogdon/Oladipo/Warren/Sabonis/Turner has a +/- of +22.
Holiday/Oladipo/Brogdon/Sabonis/Turner lineup, which is our starting lineup with Warren out, is at -25. That's gonna have to get worked out somehow.

I like JHolla in the starting lineup and AHolla coming off the bench. #3 just has that 2nd unit playmaker too him. Think he isn't playing great because he can't create with the first group.

Re: Pacers Odds and Ends
During the Pacers-Blazers game, Quinn mentioned Wayne Radford had died. For those who don't know, Radford played at IU and had a brief time with the Pacers. Always gave good effort and got what he could out of himself. Seemed like a good man, as well. It was sad to hear.

pacers.com/vote takes you directly to an all star voting page with Brogdon, Turner, and Sabonis preselected.

Three Pacers plus seven others who I vaguely remember as some star NBA players

I just bullet voted the 3 Pacers and left the rest of the ballot blank lest I help someone get ahead of our guys. you can vote again after 24 hours.

Re: Pacers Odds and Ends
The All Star team is just a popularity contest anyway
Domas is probably the only Pacer with a good shot of making it, due to the name recognition of the Sabonis name
I'm more keen to see them make the All NBA team by the season's end
They aren't going to make the 1st team, but the 2nd team is a possibility, and they should have more than a fair shot at making the 3rd team
Embiid, Durant, and Giannis are probably going to be the frontcourt candidates for the 1st team
Jokic and LeBron are probably a lock for the 2nd team, so that leaves one more spot for AD, Tatum, Kawhi, and maybe Domas
The remaining three among them who doesn't get the spot on the 2nd team will probably all make it to the 3rd team, unless someone like Gobert or Adebayo or Zion sneaks in
As for the guards, it's probably Harden and Luka at the top, and then Curry and Lillard, leaving Brown, PG, Mitchell, and Brogdon fighting for the two remaining spots on the 3rd team. Booker might sneak in if the Suns do well
It's a tight race, but Domas and Brogdon both have a shot. When was the last time Pacers had two players who could contend for All NBA considerations
When it comes to All NBA awards, they tend to reward players on good teams. So if the Pacers aren't popular in the media, and struggle to get their players voted on to the All Star teams, then the very least they can do is win so that their players can be considered for the All NBA teams

This
Doug is actually at his most effective when he attacks and cuts to the basket
If the defense isn't prepared, it's usually an automatic bucket
