Don't be too surprised if they postpone the season until the virus slows down considerably or length of games in the season will be reduced drastically.

There isn't going to be any delay, maybe they expand roster spots and the new contracts won't count towards LT but if Soccer, NFL college sports can make it through the season then NBA will find a way

They're not going to cancel the season. They may make protocol adjustments, figure out what else they can do to deal with teams catching COVID, but there's way too much money at stake for them to cancel the season.

Saw a tweet on the general board that they're considering a 1-2 week pause in the season. If so then that's not too bad.

Yeah, read an article a couple months ago if the league were to stop entirely this time, it'd be hard to recover, financially, to run business operations to cover team admin, fulfill leasing contract of their arena, and obviously the coaches and players.

If another roster spot... i dont know any shooters but RHJ is a defender and available last check.

You guys didn't know that part of Zaza, Shaun and Barbosa's deals with the FO is that they can suit up in case of COVID emergencies?

Man, I would love to see those guys out there again, especially Barbosa.

IDK, if whole teams are coming down with it, scheduling is quickly going to become a problem. Remember how it took Draymond a few extra weeks to be able to play? If you have multiple guys on a team out for 2 weeks to maybe over a month that's going to be hard to work around (and regular injuries still happen too). It's bad everywhere but I'd be especially wary of going anywhere near LA right now.

With some teams struggling with Covid it only makes sense to expand the rosters like some posters have suggested. Maybe the Warriors have some insight on those discussions and Lin is just the first of a few guys who potentially might be added.

I also think these guys have to take a week or two for Covid vaccine, you don’t want guys getting Covid during the playoffs. It would be a major bummer if we got in the playoffs and were in a 76ers situation fielding 7-8 guys.
