Amazing how far he's dropped out of favor.

Like others have said have to give them props for never letting the Suns make a run.

Pretty epic game from Beal, 34/9/8 with 2 steals, 1 block and 1 turnover.

He did play last game. I think Brooks is just flipping a coin with him and Bonga.

When Westbrook comes back, I want to see less of him on the court, and preferably solidifying the scoring for the bench.

Nice to see Bertans get back on track.

Still too dependent on scoring to win. More Matthews please.

Nice to get 11 3s from the bench. Outrebounded them by 14. Played really good zone defense. Suns didn’t care at all and looked tired on 2nd night of back to back. Brown Jr didn’t even play in garbage time.

Brooks lives another day, unfortunately.

Imagine the team we saw tonight, with Jalen Suggs and a different coach.

Must. Keep. Losing.

Who knows when he'll come back. It could be more than a week. If Westbrook can't be Westbrook of old without the explosion, than he's just another player. He's a bigger Ish who can rebound. Brooks should lighten his load some with Neto and Smith as competent backups.

You gotta be kidding me.

Beal has averaged 45 points with a TS% around 68% in those 3 games, and you are complaining?

BTW, 29 assists and 7 turnovers. Beal had just one. Now that's awesome.

Yeah, he's a bigger Ish who can rebound, but will turn it over 5 times a game.

It's starting to look like Ish is a better player than Westbrook at this point.

And just 6 turnovers last game.

Gee, I wonder what the common denominator is in those two games?

He makes a good point. How many games have we won with Beal playing an incredible three quarters? He sits and he should sit at the beginning of the fourth quarter and then loses a rhythm. Maybe you keep him in the first three minutes. Sit him for three more. So bring him back the last six minutes of the game.

He's averaging 4.5 turnovers per game in his career so it's what he does. I consider terrible shots turnovers. So he's probably averaging around 10 per game, when you really think about it. He's been horrid. Russ is not going to change even if he is healthy. I think if you play him with that second unit with Matthews and Bertans (instead of Ish and Neto or Roibinson), it will open it up for him, assuming he's nearly 100%. But he might not be 100% for another month or maybe not the whole season.

Only saw 4th, but it was nice to see them not blow a big 1st half lead. Even with Bryant out, no Westbrook means they’ve got a chance, eh? One game sample, but with Westbrook out, Hachimura and others get more boards.

Good rebounding, good 3p shooting, few TOs, Lopez/Wagner again filling in well, looks like a good all around game. Bertands hitting, and Matthews getting time and hitting, get a few more sharpshooters and they might look like a modern team.

The reason why his shooting percentage dropped in the 4th quarter this game is because the Wizards started milking the shot clock instead of just running their sets in rhythm. Beal was forced to take a lot more bail out shots against a set defense instead of shots against an off balance defense.

His problem in the other two games were sheer exhaustion. He played 38 minutes in both games, took a ton of shots that required hard work, and he even worked hard on the defensive end.

The issue isn't Beal. Brooks needs to find a way to tread water better while Beal sits so that Beal can sit a little bit longer in the 2nd half.

But yes, taking care of the damn ball is pretty important. It helps the defense, because the other team doesn't get easy transition baskets. It's pretty damn simple. Even Beal seems to play out of control when he plays with Russ.

Defense looked much better without Bryant.

I think it was Superballman who suggested that we inform Westbrook that he just isn't healthy enough to play and sit him for a long long time.
