I love that Brown is smart enough to not hoist 3s when the opponent is leaving him all alone, and instead takes a couple dribbles and shoots bunnies.

For real, does Nash get credit for the 2nd half turnaround?

Honestly, not that much. KD won us this one on pure MVP level play.

It was a lack of effort and he should be given credit for finally benching DJ but these guys haven’t played hard regardless of coaching. It’s pure entitlement of the caliber of talent surrounding them and that is inexcusable. I don’t see anyone knocking the offensive system or the defense principles. Getting them prepared is what’s expected at this level.

Plenty of people have criticized our offensive system and defensive system.

And your coach isn’t supposed to make you play with effort. That’s on you as a player.

And KD was awesome, but he played well in the first half and we were down 16. He didn’t play way better in the 2nd half, but our defense as a team was way better.

You’re trying to have it both ways. You can’t give Nash the lion’s share of the blame for poor play and then barely give him any credit when we play well.

Come on now. You can't give him all the blame when we lose and none of the credit when we win. He made a great decision putting Brown into the rotation and LeVert back with the 2nd unit. Also, the Nets came out aggressive on both ends in the 2nd half, got to credit Nash for getting them revved up. Either way, this was a great team win led by Durant.

He has a very nice floater and uses the glass well on layups. Fantastic he has that in his game already. If he can get to mid 30% from 3, he'll be an excellent player.

Brown knows his limitations and plays within himself. Smart player.

Kyrie is AWOL and has quit on the team. He spent Sunday partying in a club while the Nets were playing the Thunder and tonight he was on some Zoom meeting while we were clawing our way back into the game versus Denver.

Great leader that guy is.

Hate on Nash all you want. The guy has not been afraid to experiment. Sent LeVert right back to the 2nd unit. DJ got his FIRST DNP-CD as a Net. Immediately brought Brown back into the rotation and starting lineup. Shamet is getting a quick hook. I loved Kenny but he would come up with a plan and stick to it for 10 games before making an adjustment if it wasn't working. Nash isn't messing around.

KD is just ridiculous man. Ya'll can sit here and be mad about Kyrie or a couple losses in January. I'm gonna enjoy having a legit MVP on our team. Denver was doubling him the whole game and he dropped 34 on 18 shots. That doesn't even make sense!

LeVert had an up and down game but he really cleaned it up in the 4th. Desperately bought us the time we needed to rest KD. An efficient 20, 6, and 5. Only ended up -1 for the game after a disastrous start. He's gotten into a nice rhythm.

We gonna lose tmw, I'm sure of it lol. That's what we do, we lose to bad teams, and bring our A game against good teams.

Can we also just acknowledge how much of a monster Jokic is btw? 23/11/8/7 with like 1 TO, and basically just dominated a good defensive C like Allen.

Next up: Knicks, Magic, Bucks, Cavs, Cavs.

We need to go 3-2 over this next stretch.

and yet, Allen was +18 on the floor. I honestly expected this, Jokic has dominated every match up that he's had this season. I'll take Allen's 6pts 5rebs 3asts 2 blocks in a win, Jokic is going to dog walk his opponents regardless.

KD is a leader, a champion and a top 3 player in the sport. All of the noise means nothing to him he just wants to play ball and compete. He's not taking games off because he knows we need to shake off this slow start. He's committed to his team.

National TV versus the Knicks in MSG. He wasn't going to miss this. He might drop 40 tomorrow.

He is a great leader and great teammate. Fans cant handle he isnt playing a game because we root for that team. he should come back when he is ready and focused and it is 10000% warranted he is out.

Return to Brooklyn Nets
