Gotta go 7-3 in the remaining January games to bring it to 9-11. Get those wins and end the outrageous unlucky streak.

I'm not sure why, but when I see teams get flustered like this, specifically with the Raptors putting things together after a horrible start, but still getting the short end of the stick in close hard fought games, I often recall the frustrations of the 1995 Pittsburgh Steelers.

They were 2-0 that year, and they end up **** up a game against the Dolphins. 2-1.

Then they get completely jobbed by the refs against the Vikings, who call a BS too many men on the field at a pivotal moment.
Bill Cowher stormed the field with a printout of the play, clearly displaying 11 men on the field. He shoved the paper in the refs pocket, to no avail. Steelers end up losing.

So they're 2-2 and mad as ****.

They face the Chargers next.

Poor chargers. it was 21-0 by the end of the 1st.

Long story short, I think Charlotte is exactly what the doctor ordered: a punching bag.

I sincerely doubt the season is salvageable if we don't sweep them.

Crush them.

As a Steeler fanatic, loved seeing a real coach in charge, Bill Cowher. More nostalgia in that clip, Three Rivers stadium, and shots of the late great Kevin Greene.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

Aye WaltFrazier. He did mess up the super bowl that year, wasting so many first downs on short runs for no gain, but he was a special coach with a special team.

they have won 4 in a row.. damn. they lookin to feast on the last place team ;D

detroits next game is against giannis' bucks, so they will probably lose, so we need lamelo and hayward to go off. no way we let casey get cade cunningham, no wayyyyyy! secure the bottom!

The Raptors are eventually going to turn things around. I would be shocked if they finished below .500 ... I know everyone is dreaming of a top 5 pick, but I do not see the Raptors finishing any lower then the 7th or 8th seed.

:) :-? we need a top 5 pick...this squad needs a quality big man & wingman who can get us buckets when we need to.

last 2 games we lost becz we lack that player, we have good pieces...lets finish get it right for once...I think 1 of those needs will have via trade, whoever we draft at SG will have to up & ready for us...I don't think raptors fans want to wait for a project SG, we need to get harden or beal type player..(I wish)

this situation that we are in, it was going to occur we traded young players for short term success & we did achieve that, we won the championship in 2019...basically we lost our front court & wing man players, that's what we lack.

I think we win this one. Hornets getting plenty of love in media so this is the game where they make them look dumb.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

I tend to agree but there is a play in this year. So Raptors could lose that and end up with the maybe 11th best odds or so. With the flattened odds, who knows. just saying, I'm not really pro-tanking regardless.

We need Kawhi Leonard, that doesn't mean it's going to happen. It's dangerous to have tunnel vision for things that have no realistic way of coming true. Not only will you disappoint yourself, but you're actively rooting for the franchise to get stuck in exactly the place every tWo member doesn't want to be - picking between 11th and 14th and losing in the first round. You know in your heart of hearts Masai and Bobby are never going to allow us to be bad enough to even get a top 10 pick, let alone top 5.

While Team-Cowards(TWO) continues to wish for losses..I look forward to seeing more of CB's, OG's developments against GOAT's team. Add Stanley Johnson in there as well.
P-Sizzle had basically back-to-back triple double?! so excited to find out more about this "triple-double" thing against GOAT's team..if that's a new thing?.
Only have 2 wishes with this team, at this very moment:
1. Kyle accepts the 6th man role to free Norm
2. Fingers crossed on Alex Len's development but if not then somehow get a Al Horford (if wish#1 can't happen then Norm+Baynes+McCaw+Len should do it to get Horford)

CB25:
17.5ppg/7rpg/4.5bpg on back-to-back-night against Nurkic/Kanter/Melo/Wiseman/Green
19.3ppg/8rpg/4bpg - last 3 games

Impressive for any bigman.

LaMelo really look good for a rookie. he's even shooting 35% from 3 (5 attempts per game) when he was poorly shooting the ball against the Raptors in preseason.

watch the Raps win but all the highlights will be an amazing LaMelo pass in the first quarter when it was inconsequential.

If Philly gets Harden we are pretty much destined for a non HCA seed in the playoffs (at best). Would be a disaster missing out on an extremely good draft. I hope Masai has a plan going forward aside from ‘competing’ and seeing where it goes.

Full steam ahead on the tank. There's no sense aiming for a 7-11 spot that's filled with lots of moral victories and a bunch of would've/could've/should've moments in the clutch.
