Gotta go 7-3 in the remaining January games to bring it to 9-11. Get those wins and end the outrageous unlucky streak.
I'm not sure why, but when I see teams get flustered like this, specifically with the Raptors putting things together after a horrible start, but still getting the short end of the stick in close hard fought games, I often recall the frustrations of the 1995 Pittsburgh Steelers.
They were 2-0 that year, and they end up **** up a game against the Dolphins. 2-1.
Then they get completely jobbed by the refs against the Vikings, who call a BS too many men on the field at a pivotal moment.
Bill Cowher stormed the field with a printout of the play, clearly displaying 11 men on the field. He shoved the paper in the refs pocket, to no avail. Steelers end up losing.
So they're 2-2 and mad as ****.
They face the Chargers next.
Poor chargers. it was 21-0 by the end of the 1st.
Long story short, I think Charlotte is exactly what the doctor ordered: a punching bag.
I sincerely doubt the season is salvageable if we don't sweep them.
Crush them.
As a Steeler fanatic, loved seeing a real coach in charge, Bill Cowher. More nostalgia in that clip, Three Rivers stadium, and shots of the late great Kevin Greene.
