Maybe its just me but I dont like this deal for the Nets.

They barely saw what they have with KD and Kyrie. Now they add Harden.

On top of that now they have zero depth. This could be last years Sixers all over again.

Nets stars are better- overall- than what Philly was rolling out. Doesn't mean the marriage will work- but the talent level (especially on offense) is undeniable.

On top of that why in the world did Cleveland want to jump in and grab Allen and Prince? Cavs have like a million bigs.

I haven't seen the details on the picks, but Rockets are getting 4 future FRP and 4 pick swaps. I guess one of those picks is coming from Cleveland, but Nets still giving up a ton of their future. If this thing implodes in Brooklyn, those picks are going to be valuable.

Yup. Looking forward to the drama surrounding that team. I guess Kyrie will be on his way back from vacation now...

Man Oladipo for Lavert is a straight salary dump. Houston gets Exum and Oladipo both expiring contracts plus a boatload of first round picks.

Great Trade for Indy. Lavert will be a great long term fit with that team.

Houston got the salary cap relief they needed and a lot of future picks where some will probably be lottery picks. While still maintaining a playoff team this year, IMO.

Brooklyn got worse with this deal. That is my opinion. I don't like Kyrie or Harden to be honest.

Cleveland may be have gotten a steal in Jarret Allen.

An EXPIRING Oladipo

Cavs got Jarrett Allen and Taurean Prince for friggin' Exum (another expiring!)

I think Cleveland is going to dump their older bigs by the deadline. Allen+Prince fit agewise with SexLand

Surprised the Nets didn't snag McGee. They need a C now. DeAndre is washed

From what I have read it looks like,

Harden to the Nets

Oladipo/Exum/Kurucs/four 1st round picks (including the Cavs 2022 via Bucks) and four Nets pick swaps to the Rockets

LeVert to the Pacers

Taurean Prince/Jarrett Allen to the Cavs

*Sorry I am at work and not sure if this is 100%

Why do teams keep making these mistakes?

Why?

Here's the thing.

If you have a chance to get Kevin Durant and put a team around him, you do it 10 times out of 10.

If you have a chance to get Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving AND James Harden, with no team around them... you DON'T do it.

It sounds crazy but it's true. There's no Chris Bosh in that group. There's no Klay Thompson. No Manu Ginobili.

These teams never work. It's just a matter of time.

Yea...I kinda hate all 3 of them. Kyrie is already being weird. I could be wrong, obviously there is talent, but IMO James Harden coming in ruins sll the chemistry.

someone posted on the GB that there are 7 players with a usage rate over 29%(?) and now 3 of them are on the same team.

*Not sure on the % but it was basically, there are 7 dudes who hold the ball all the damn time and now half of that list need to share it.

They needed to get McGee from the Cavs. Cleveland got Allen/Prince for an expiring Exum.. they could have included one of their 9 big men.
