Where does this leave Ben Simmons?

Obviously there is a lot that we don't know, but assuming all the chatter that was going on is true - after the Sixers / Houston trade didn't go through, where does this leave Simmons?
Will this light a fire under him to try harder? Maybe even work on adding an outside shout? (kind of an "Oh yeah, I'll show them sort of thing)?
Will this make him upset, and not try very hard for Philly? (they don't want me, fine, I don't want them).
Will he want to be traded?
Or do you think this is just one of those things that professional athletes are used to dealing with (the possibilty of being traded), and not really affect him?

I can't really imagine what it's like to be in that kind of situation. I wonder how he will handle it.

I think he's leaving and I think our season is over. So if Philly is willing to give us a 1st or Maxey or Thybulle. Sure, why not?

I agree with this, i dont think theyd want to give up all the picks. Doc has always preached ball movement as part of his offensive philosphy, Harden doesnt share that same mindset. I dont thnk hes a "Doc" kind of player, and honestly i think Philly is better off.

I dont really see it. The Sixers would need to trade multiple starters just to match salaries (assuming they dont trade Harris) which would make the deal pointless. Then if the Raptors wanted some young players/picks it would lessen the appeal of the deal even more.

I think the Nets should trade Kyrie for him. He is already being a compete Diva, now he's the #3 option on the team with two other ball dominant and more popular superstars.

Ben is young, one of the top point guards in the league and has crazy size, crazy potential still, adds elite defense, and trying to prove himself and win. He is to me near perfect to pair with KD and Harden.
